Also do note that the whole stairs scene was also a reference to DIO. The author Araki definitely likes his biblical references. DIO(God in Italian) was at the top of the stairs while Diavolo(Devil) was at the bottom of the stairs.
I remember when i first saw the scene when Doppio turns into Diavolo i freaked out sooo much, it was such a cool moment to me haha their designs are just so sick ❤️ I love polnareff but i cant hate on hot pink guys lmao

Im glad to see someone point out that the Boss, Diavolo, disrespect our boy by putting his foot on him and talking mad shit after he won. But yeah, Diavolo is finally surfacing, and right in time for some crazy shit about to happen. Trust me the confusion is universal when it comes to the next couple episodes, but by the time King of Kings comes around, I hope you understand I'm naming the episode because that episode alone Ive seen 30 times. Its just great. And nows the time to maybe start picking up on some of the biblical references. Diavolo means something in Italian, Dio means something in Italian, etc. etc.
