28:18 Only remember Pulp Fiction with similar scene
27:52 Dude just "Another"ed himself..
An important distinction is that Novak didn't say "nothing to lose" but "prepared to die". I'd argue the two are on completely different axis and the scariest person is one with everything to lose AND is prepared to die to protect it all.
Just add and a big IQ and one that is stable emotionally even in scariest moments. If you have everything to lose all that weight can cloud judgement, you can be manipulated, but if you don;t have anything to lose then nothing has an effect on you anymore. OFC nothing to lose is dangerous only in revenge scenarios.
Copy-pasting a previous comment of mine: It's Badeni, not Badini 😅 The Polish W is pronounced as a V, so Nowak sounds like Novak. If you wanna get a W sound in Polish, then it's Ł/ł.
Astrology is to Astronomy what Alchemy is to Chemistry and what Herbal Remedies is to Modern Medicine. The first ones were born before the second ones, "Astrology walked so Astronomy could run" you could say. Science and Religion and Belief and Politics are core concepts of society that were at different points in history really combined and one and the same
For example: Astrology might say someone born when Mercury is on retrograde has a bad personality. Astrophysics has proven that when the Moon moves, it makes the ocean currents wave back and forth. So, what really separates "observing the sky and trying to understand your reality" astrology from astronomy? The scientific method and peer reviewed investigations
Absolute oczy ✋🙂🤚
Peak.
Don’t run with swords!
There was no logical reason for Badeni to beg for Oczy to stay. By every sense of logic, Badeni benifited from this. Yet Oczy still choose to argue for him. Its subtle. but it really shows they are friends.
man this truly is the most cinematic piece of fiction I've ever seen
orbin time
This show is so good. In the first half we see Oczy being logical about being open to criticism, in the 2nd half we see him contradicting the very logic with his faith in heliocentrism. Forward to Badeni blessing Oczy with a quote from Bible with one of my favourite OST by Kensuke Ushio (music composer of Chainsaw man) playing in the background. Peak Anime!
Yeah the amount of time they spent talking was a bit silly considering the urgency, but on the other hand the dialogue in Orb is so good that I can't help but give them a pass.
Anime time is a hilarious mechanic of shows that would benefit from just... not doing that, but well 😂
They're gonna be here in 5 minutes! but never mind, let's talk first for... 5 minutes.
