Her pain is missing alongside her ability. That old doctor scene tells us that her father asks him for some medicine to suppress her ability, with pain insensitivity as a consequence. When the insensitivity temporarily disabled, she feel pain again and her ability awakens again alongside it. That's why Shiki said she can't kill her "in that state" since her insensitivity comes back and her ability sealed again I love this rewatch since I picked up things I didn't pick back then when I watched it first (and second) time. I think the reason Shiki said she couldn't kill her is that she hesitated to use her powers against shiki, and her murder was only confined to the guys who raped her. Since she shows a reluctance to attack an uninvolved party she let her go. As soon as Shiki heard she killed a driver who had nothing to do with it she put her jacket on and immediately went to face, and that time she did not hesitate to use her eyes powers to try and take down shiki

Saw the weekly schedule and had to pay the 1,5 cause I love knk. Also the reason they act weird its cause as you said Mikiya is the only normal person there besides his attraction to a woman who wants to kill him.

Please, don't skip the endings of the movies! every one of them is absolutely amazing! Also as a reminder, this was the first work of Nasu, and the origin of the Nasuverse (where fate, tsukihime, mahoyo so you'll find that some characters from Fate are based from the ones appearing here (the protagonist of Tsukihime is based on Mikiya, Rin is based on Mikiya's sister and you'll find some more on the next movies). The series is...convoluted, and the movies have some flaws that left some important things unexplained. But it kind be followed more or less (get ready for the fifth movie.....) And last but not least, dates are important! In fact, this movie is before the first one, you can know that cause on this movie Shiki loses the arm, which is substituted for a prosthetic one that can catch spirits....the one she uses to catch the girl spirits from the first movie!

Everything in creation has a flaw humans, air, will and even time Shiki's power is to see the death of things Not metaphorically but literally, she can see the flaw on things and uses her knife to slice said flaw she mentions that she "killed" Fujino's disease and also she "killed" her own arm since it became useless, she means that literally, when she cuts the flaw on something it just dies "If it lives, I could kill even God" An amazing power for sure, I hope we get a Tsukihime anime remake someday so we can see even more of it

Garden of Sinners is kind of a spin off to fate, they share some in-universe concepts and fate characters have interacted with character's counterparts from this series Also the soundtrack once again was created by the genius Yuki Kajiura, same componser as Madoka Magica, Sword Art Online and of course Fate Zero and Fate: Heaven's feel

On rewatch it’s actually stupid how much of this movie that they recycle in Heaven’s Feel. - Purple haired heroine described as a doll that doesn’t feel anything with SA in her backstory whose powers awaken during one of her assaults who is in love with her senpai (aka Sakura) - said heroine gets saved when she’s stabbed with a knife that removes the internal source of pain (shiki killing Fujino’s appendicitis, Shirou separating Sakura from Angra Mainyu with rule breaker) - the main heroine has a smile of pure happiness for the first time since their trauma (shiki smiling for the first time since her accident, sakura smiling when Rin asks if she’s happy) lol i love it all tho

For Asagami Fujino… all I’ll say is her story in Garden of Sinners is not over yet

I would imagine they arranged something for her after she gets out of the hospital, or during it since he family might still want her dead. At least Kokutou will help her get her footing in life again. And like he said, after this is over she will regret her killing spree for the rest of her life, and as far as he is concerned that's her punishment. Most don't know of her killing and few that do cant ever just go to the police with a story of "a crazy woman that can voodoo twist people with a look alone"
