I was here for the start of your anime journey! I think I saw one of your reactions to Nightwish, then you reacted to the openings of AOT and other anime music, and then I stayed for your anime reactions. It's been fun and I'm looking forward to all that comes in the future, though as a working adult it's sometimes hard to find time to watch the reactions (especially these long livestream recordings) :)

01:03:30 - Spot on analysis. Season 2 relies upon the, "that's fucked up," factor to hide the lack of good writing. Season 2 is the, "We have Psycho-Pass at home," entry, like someone was told about the world and read a synopsis of the plot from Season 1 and then tried to recreate it. When was the last time the nonlethal Dominator mode was shown? Why is every enforcer now extremely high crime coefficient? In Season 1 they were all in the mid-100s to 200ish range, now every enforcer is higher than the dude making bombs and are close to characters like the holo killer from Season 1. Kamui is just a badly written Makishima knock-off... Makishima empowered people to act on their free will, Kamui claims he wants to give people their free will. Makishima couldn't be judged by the system, well Kamui is invisible to it! It's like a sequel to an action movie - "More Explosions! More Gore! Crazier Villain! It's Psycho-Pass 2!!!!" Rewatching this season via these VODs is reminding me of why I've watched Season 1 multiple times and, until now, only watched Season 2 once.

One of the reasons the new girl is so against her college and everything else, along with the fact that her hue doesn't change much is because she is so close to Akane's mindset just in a more negative direction. However she is also paranoid and a perfectionist so she has never committed a crime or done anything to make her hue too cloudy making her completely blind to her own dangerousness.

You're not going to see happy lives in a police drama.

[writing this in the middle of the video] I love how Luke decided to wake up and chose to question everything in Psycho Pass and "raging" about how they could've done "this" instead of "that" and how "that" doesen't make any sense and whatever. I never picked up on these details and just thought "it is what it is" or "they probably had their reason to do it that way".

Sadly I missed the stream but its nice to watch some Psycho-pass again this week. I have to say I can understand how you feel about this season so far. I think because there are so many new characters you can hardly focus on one and that also takes away from the screentime other characters like Ginoza have. The second season is definitly the weakest season in my opinion, either way I did enjoy it in the end. I think of course nothing beats season 1 but I think season 3 is really good as well. Hope you can enjoy the rest of the anime even if the second season has some flaws. Also, if no one told you already, in my opinion you should really watch the Psycho pass movies and OVAs in release order and not chronological because the story and mistery aspects are better that way. As example the movie Providence is supposted to be a prequel for season 3 but there are some plot elements which only make sense if you have watched season 3 first. Well either way chat desides how you watch the hole show and I'm just glad someone reacts to this masterpiece. Hope you have fun with your reaction and I'm looking forward to your next stream.

Thank you for another reaction, Luke! After 2/3 of the season, Mika finally did some detective work only to try to get Akane fired. Even if you put everything else aside and look at the situation objectively, she and Akane are the only Inspectors left at the moment, since Aoyanagi was blasted by the sniper Dominator and Shisui is working for Kamui now, so it doesn't make any sense to remove Akane. But in a way, that's very much in character for Mika. Well, looking forward to the finale next week.

Idk if chat did tell you. The Inspectors cannot turn off the dominators. They cannot do anything about them other than not aim them at people or fire them, The only person that’s been shown to be able to control the dominators at will is The chief or the system. They can track them when they’ve been activated but when they’re not being actively used(held) they’re not tracked because they’re always in that little robot that delivers them & requires an inspector to open it. I could be mistaken & misremembering it, but I’m like 80% sure I’m right. Hope that helps my guy👍
