It had a flintlock mechanism, which was also around the time rifling was introduced. That would have made it much more accurate. I think a paper or cloth pad was pressed down the barrel after the gunpowder, even before that. The projectile had to be close to the size of the barrel, which meant it was pushed down with a rod. It would not roll out.
25:42 If a gun is strong enough to rip off an arm, it would also rip off the arm of the person who fired it. That's just how the physics works.
Not exactly correct since you have to consider the variables as well - speed and acceleration of the bullet, distance, the angle from which it pierced and many more. Let me give you an example with an assault rifle - Ak-47 can tear your limbs and head from your body if you get shot at very close range but no - it won't tear the person who shot it. Now, I don't know the specifics of the feifa they're using but I highly doubt any firearms that are produced have the inconvenience of inflicting damage upon the person who shoots it(if, of course, it works properly and as intended and yeah most weapons go through a testing phase to ensure its fully operational) because that would be considered a defect product. Physics is a vast field but I can assure you - that's not how weapons work(desert eagle is a good example of a good penetrating pistol also).
Do NOT try remove a bullet! call a medical professional, get first aid and get to the hospital! It's one of the most dangerous tropes in movies and I hate seeing it every single time. You will cuase more harm and most likely bleed to death.
The food was "Invigorating" and bro got a nose bleed, it was basically Viagra, which is why Maomao wasn't concerned for Jinshi and said she's "Built Different" 😅
Ice doesn't emit a cooling effect it's more like absorbing and trapping the heat. A bowl of water would have the same effect, slowing the heat traveling around the room but take so long it would be hard to notice a similar example however is the cooling effect of a large body of water like a lake or flowing water like a stream or shower.
The were serving the food equivalent of Viagra to him.
Multiple people have mentioned the food was for bedroom purposes, but mention he's not supposed to have a donger. This part is incorrect. "Jinshi" doesn't have a donger, but he is currently "Kousen" who would have a donger.
Next Episode: frog.
Hello! Can you please tell me when to expect the next reaction to Naruto? Can't wait for the next one tbh haha
Next Naruto stream should be this coming Thursday
Luke you should check Biss’s reaction to this episode she was fuming.
Flintlock vs matchlock
10:29 he's not scared for his life, he's scared of his body "reacting" to the food. Soft shell turtle and stuff like that have long been considered foods to boost bedroom performance. Since he's supposed to be a eunuch him popping up would be a bad thing.
The food is meant to "Invigorate", in other words stimulate the male organ, which Jinshi actually has but is not "Suppose" to. Besides he is taking a drug that is suppose to make him limp to hide he is not a eunuch. A trap to show he is more then he claims to be.
god damn it why it ends at that point
poor Basen. why Jinshi couldn't eat the food ? Maomao pointed out that it made her feel 'invigorating'. the people who prepared the food probably used ingredients with stimulants that can elevate mood and potentially increase blood flow, and tryptophan, a precursor to serotonin, a neurotransmitter involved in pleasure and arousal. Jinshi didn't want to eat it for his safety
sepsis can definitely kill you. and it was a somewhat frog.
8:50 kinda. And it was VERY luxurious to have actual ice like that, also. That's like Shishou saying "look how wealthy we are, we can even afford ice blocks" 😁
2:36 Shishou is the father of Loulan, the newest High Ranking Comcubine from the Garnet Pavilion. The one that has a LOT of ladies in waiting and keeps changing her outfit all the time (as mentioned by Jinshi in the first season). He is one of the top level beaurocrats from the empire, leveling in position with Lakan, Maomao's father. You could see him briefly on a meeting with one of the foreigner represenative girls, a few episodes ago
Frog time! 😁
Oh loook! A frog~
I love Luke's utter and complete not understanding a simple scene.
Not Luke having the exact same reaction to the episode's cliffhanger as I did when I watched it 😂
The food was aphrodisiacs, and Jinshi can't normally eat it because he takes meds to pretend to be an eunuch. Jinchi wanted Maomao to notice and think "Why would they give aphrodisiacs to an eunuch, and why would he refuse to eat it when he doesn't have to worry about their effect?", she did not rised that question and that's why Gaoshun looked like he was thinking "Jinshi, could you f***ing tell her in a normal way?!"
Oooh just in time :))) hello Luke, happy weekend
Let Him Cook.
it's just a frog, it's just a frog, it's just a frog...
Ah somewhat large frog...
Really hoped that Luke would post the ep 12 with this one because we already had this cliffhanger and now we need to wait whole week to see your reaction to the frog scene 😭🐸
Anime didn't make it clear but the food was all natural aphrodisiac. They tried to feed Jinshi with it and put some womans in his room. That's why Basen was holding his you know what when trying to leave
