What's crazy is to think that the technology in your phone is a billion times better than the technology that sent men to the moon.

why I thought this would be kanata no astra (Astra Lost in Space) instead, that anime is the only non mecha show that I can think of "space" anime. PS: about kanata no astra, if others wanna try it out, yes it has warp holes, yes it has space travel, yes it shows planets which were never visited before, yes people die, yes there is betrayal, yes there are THREE attack on titan season 4 moments as in "the story keeps changing and you just cannot predict the story at all", and it's basically stranded in space.

that's the fastest a spacecraft has gotten to.... not its instance speed. In space there's almost no friction so all the acceleration is just that. On earth we get slowed down. One of the reason they want to set up moon base. Less friction so all the effort can be put into launching from there to other parts of the solar system. And for planet - Kepler-452b.

I think the best thing that viewers here can do is recommend these video to others. We need to grow this audience to incentivize Luke to keep making these types of videos. He's not going to want to keep making videos that don't perform well. I do believe the audience exists for this type of older content. It's just a matter of getting the word out. So if you want more of this type of content, it's up to us to help spread the good word. As a side note on The Apothecary Diaries. I like reactions to be re-watches. So I don't want to watch a show and then want to watch a reaction video to it the same day/week/month. Others may feel the same way. So they skip new anime reactions to instead enjoy other shows or activities.

Thank you for your reaction to a bit older series 😊 Space Brothers rank as #150 on MAL. So you just need to make a little peak besides the TOP 100, and you will be flooded by a large number of great titles. Also, for navigating the great amount of titles, it would help you to pick a genre/theme/decade/demographic 😉 For example, shoujo/josei demographics have titles that are not all about romance. But when it comes to shoujo/josei romance, you can find titles with topics like - schoolmates/friends to dating couple - reconnecting after some years apart - dating and navigating the relationship - slow burn - from a fake relationship to a real one - toxic relationships - healing relationships - heartbreak - revenge - fliping the stereotypes And so on... For sure, Shoujo/josei can offer a big variety not just in the romance genre 😉

I'd love to go to K2-18b (Ocean planet with a 99.7% chance of life). Or 55 Cancri e (Planet with diamond mountains) Love your work, keep it up man.

Speaking of under appreciated anime - I'd recommend checking out Mawaru Penguindrum OPs! Now off to watch Space Brothers!

This really reminded me a lot of the Queens of the stone age for some reason

It's light-hearted but it is still a drama rather than a comedy. At the very least, the characters are serious about achieving their dreams.

Hi Luke First time to comment here and I always watching your reaction from Japan. I will be so pleased to have you watching Space Brothers since I am a big fan and even went to exhibition of space bro 10 years ago. Still a big fan and I bet you will like it too. It contained a lot of Japanese joke you might won't get it but never mind, It'll going to be a chances to let others know how good this anime is.

I look forward to the day you watch this anime series. You won't regret it. One of my all time favorite. There's a reason why people who watched it only say good things about it. ❤️

A very good space travel anime to react to is Astra Lost in Space. It’s very much “Among Us” the anime.

Not my type of anime music, but still a nice reacton. Still recommending The full op for Gunslinger Girl. The Light Before We Land by The Delgados.

Practically takes 7+ months. to fly to Mars by the smallest trajectory.

First of all- why is no one talking about realistic shows? Because they find it boring and choose horniness/ magic sht or anything else beforehand Secondly- I would stay on Neptune, this planet looks the most intriguing out of all Third point- everybody uses kilometers instead of miles- only USA and Uk are using birds per square burgers it seems

I would also recommend watching the live-action movie of this one, do it first to test the waters, it is wholesome by the way, the main theme is dream chasing when it is not practical or "too late"

I recommended space brothers to you about 2 years ago lol, one of my favourites

I've been an anime fan for over 20 years and this is the first time I've ever heard of this, weird.

It happens. I think most people consume anime (and other media) in waves. So it's easy to miss out on stuff during the time periods when you're not watching as much, especially if they are shows like this, that people just don't talk about after it stops airing. I think Space Brothers is a great show, and really entertaining. But it doesn't have staying power - I haven't thought about it much at all in the last 13 years.

Bro would just react to everything before the baki openings 😭
