All fruit begins as flowers. Have you never seen a flowering fruit tree?
I love Bon's growth since the last episode. He's definitely Fushi's best man after Gugu
If bon dies. Fushi will learn about the revival. Of course. But like. I still don't want this guy to die. Also Friday Saturday ain't enough for this. I need it every day of the week. How dare it just end like that
Great reaction Shangri la frontier
Not gonna lie, season 2 fell off for me.
Hey Luke, after you've finished TYE, it might be the perfect chance to finally start watching Shangri-la Frontier
Please react to a movie (non-Twitch applicable) after you finish To Your Eternity. For example the Ghost in the Shell (1995).
I second Ghost in the Shell 1995.
Adding onto what RandomTitanGuy said, Bon explains the church is more concerned about Fushi dethroning the Bennett's God as the ultimate authority in the region. By demonizing Fushi, his followers are no longer following a "new god" but rather following "god's enemy, the devil". They should no longer be considered heretics for believing in a "fake god", instead considered stupid masses being tempted by the devil and in need of salvation (through exorcisms, reading the holy scriptures, indebted servitude, less political influence, etc, but not execution) Though this is just my interpretation. Corrupted authorities such as the bishop shown here shouldn't be trusted to behave. He very well could persecute these villages and the Uralis kingdom because he felt like it, and Bon's sacrifice would be in vain. We're just gonna have to wait and see. I don't remember much about the next few episodes
That priest reminds me of the witch trials - "we gonna tie a stone to you and throw you in the water, if you float - you are witch, if you drawn - well, God saved you"
To try and help clear a few things up, Bon's "confession" wasn't to free himself, he told the church what they wanted to hear about Fushi then added the part about the demon coming to kill them if they ever interfered with the "devil's followers" again but he told them he's still on Fushi's side. That way the church will stop paying mind to Fushi's supporters but still think they have one because they think they still have Fushi trapped in the iron block. Bon giving his life was the result of him not disowning Fushi after everything he told the church.
What happened to danmachi?
Here we go! Luke knew it was on patreon, he just wanted an excuse to see it again. o7 Bon.
