Nice Ritsu 100%, it’s obvious that is Mob’s little brother 25:36 💀

I think may be I am the minority few but I enjoy ss3 maybe even more than ss2 because of how phenomenal the finale is for mob psycho as a series.

Sho called Ritsu holding back/ having a huge untapped potential way back in S1! 🤯

I kind of liked how despite all their similarities, different Espers come to very different conclusions about how to treat their powers Mob's problem was more about suppressing his emotions than rejecting his powers. It's easy to see the other Mob as a manifestation of his power but he's more like a manifestation of all the intense emotions that Mob tried not to let himself feel. That's why Mob's character arc revolved around accepting those emotions and overcoming his fear of going out of control. Suzuki's situation is different. He always saw his powers as a solution to any problem he faced. Because of that he never really needed to rely on anyone or form meaningful connections. Him deciding not to use his powers anymore doesn't involve suppressing his emotions in anyway. It just means he won't use them as a crutch anymore, which means he'll be forced to connect with and rely on other people. Out of everyone I think Teru has the healthiest view of his powers. At first he thought they made him better than other people, but even after seeing the error of his ways he never really blames his powers for how he acted. He doesn't fear them or use them as a crutch. The idea of rejecting them never occurs to him because he's the one who truly sees them as just another trait. And he honestly seems to enjoy training his powers in a way none of the other psychics do. He talks about his new light speed motion like it's a party trick he taught himself for fun.

I think Mob being possesed by Mob is such a great twist to your typical fox demon/evil spirit cliché

It's strange, but for some reason I support the alternative mob, even though I don't believe it will win

To be fair I would say the difference in strength between them also comes from the fact that the dude blew his 20 years worth of power into the seeds in Mob's pocket which grew into the broccoli we just finished dealing with. The power he has left doesn't come close to what he had back in the season 2 finale. But yeah also Mob just has way more power than him and unlike then he's not holding back anything currently.

Bro I always be waiting impatiently for your reactions to Mob Psycho 100! Especially with Season 3, which had some of the most tender moments in the anime! Thanks so much for this reaction, and I'm so glad to see you enjoying the show :)

Since Mob has shown he can repair buildings in season 1 I am honestly not sure if he gets fined or not. There's a lot of logistical questions for a world with powerful espers lol

I can't remember how I ranked the seasons through my first watch through, but I most definitely know that every season of Mob is precious to me through every watch through since. I think any adolescence and grown up still figuring out themselves needs to see all three stages of Mob's life (that we got in forms of seasons) in their own life. Learning and refining your morals, trusting those that want to be your support system, and this season's final lesson are the things I hope my child can take to heart when I show them this show one day. No matter what happens in the final episode, thank you for reacting to this series, Luke. It may not be the most talked about series, but there's something truly precious about Mob Psycho 100 that makes it stand out as a fortunate watch to those that see the series through to the end

15:45 this whole series is, if in the "nail that sticks up will be hammered down" situation, the nails drive themselves down. Sad.

Mob’s internal dialogue at the end of this episode… I think it’s such a great metaphor and visualization of potential long-term consequences of dissociating himself from, and/or repressing, his feelings without engagement in healthy stress coping mechanisms. My biggest takeaway from this episode—and arguably, the whole series—is that the benefits of choosing to feel your feelings, and/or finding healthy ways of managing stress and emotions, is likely to outweigh the benefits of repressing them. I see [healthy relationships that bring you lots of moments of joy] as one likely benefit of choosing to feel your feelings continually over time. Thank you for sharing your reaction to this episode, Luke!! Happy Gregorian new year!
