Eva is honestly one of the best and most complex characters in anime I swear. On the one hand she's a selfish miserable person but then on the other you can't help but feel bad for her almost. She's not a clean archetype, she feels like a very real person

when push comes to shove, a persons true character wil often emerge. I think that Eva thought she wanted revenge on Tenma, but when it came to, it she couldn't do it. I think she might even have surprised herself by the fact that she actually cares about him. but that's just a theory... A MONSTER THEORY.
