Hellsing Ultimate is the Manga accurate anime, think of FMAB compared to FMA 03. That first OP is the regular Hellsing OP and the second one is uh, not real.
It's your first time reaction to any Hellsing OP ever... The 1st OP is "Logos Naki World" (A World Without Logos) by Yasushi Ishii. The 2nd one... is not related to Hellsing at all. Hellsing TV series from 2001 was done before the manga was finished, it deviates from manga and half of the content is anime only, no nazis. Hellsing Ultimate (2006-2012) is adapting the whole manga. I don't remember Helsing Ultimate having an OP only almost every episode had other ED. Hellsing TV series has also good ending > "Shine" by Mr. Big.
Ultimate did not have an opening. The original is similar to Ultimate, but it's much more slower, serious and atmospheric. It starts taking its own path that differs from Ultimate and never even touches upon Millennium, the general or any of that. Original also has an absolutely awesome soundtrack that's similar to the OP song, but sadly the series never got an ending, so it's not really a satisfying watch.
Yea, the music and atmosphere of the first adaptation is much much better. But sadly it barely touches on the first parts of the story then make its own ending. Ultimate is closer to the manga and adapt the whole thing, but also failed to grasp the atmosphere as good as the first one. The jazz in first one really gave it a mix of brutality with class, while ultimate is more like gore, and absurd brutality 100% of the time.
Dude... someone trolled you heavily. First opening is from the first adaptation of Hellsing and not Heslling Ultimate (ultimate is basically one where they adapted the whole manga, and not just first few parts like the first one... though first one have better music and vibe IMO). Second opening is just fanmade opening. It uses music from the "Shiki" anime
