The guy didnt know how to curse someone :D but this is ''ghost/spirit/curses'' phenomen anime :D for all we know if you curse someone everyday (just by saying some words) a spirit may actually be born from that (speaking from JJK universe :D )

The point of mob thinking that he had to hurt the clients instead was because of what reigen said, Ghosts and humans are the same to him since he is as close to them as he is to humans so to him exorcising a spirit is equivalent to killing a human, and if he usually kills a ghost because it is bothering humans them if humans are bothering a ghost family he should "exorcize" them.

Bro the animation at 4:04 of this dude walking is so good and it's for a scene that isn't even that big in the grand scheme of the show 馃槶 the animators are flexing and at 6:48

Btw since you bring up Supernatural so much just so you know they made a Supernatural anime (it only covers the first season though)
Man I love season 1 but I feel season 2 just builds so well on the foundation laid by that strong 1st season and even if you don't post them the same day I feel like there are a couple episode pairs you might want to watch back to back I assume you'll know them when you get to them
I watched all three seasons and I personally thought season 2 was the best of the three. There were just so many memorable moments from this season and I thought this one developed Mob鈥檚 character the best.
I just realized that there was foreshadowing all the way back in this episode, the way this show builds it's conflicts is amazing
Man Mob is such a good boy but its crazy to think he was literally thinking if he was serious about protecting the ghosts he'd have to deal with the issue causing them problems the humans
I wasn't really feeling the second episode of the second season but the first and third are absolute bangers

This is an incredible episode. The exorcism really shows his relationship to spirits. He sees them as people, which makes him exorcising them seem much harsher than before. He is actually used to move people from this life to the next. That is his job. And yeah, season 1 definitely spent more time setting up the world and who Mob is, so season 2 could begin growing him right from episode 1.
Oh boy, even the build up episodes are peak? Can't wait for what's coming
