Dude... I've been thinking about it for a while: do you really need to put huge spoilers in almost all of your videos titles?

I personally think Eva did have some type of love for Tenma she's just very unstable and a lot of it was also personal motives. But I feel like somewhere she did love him, in a weird toxic way. I think really what it is is she loved the idea of having someone in her life. So she misses Tenma for that reason. But it seems very complicated

Monster is really good, it start slowly building the plot and you cannot stop watching it after later episodes....

A lot of flashbacks in this ep, I mean it's not like we forgot after only a few ep so I hope it's just an exception and it won't always be like that. Otherwise it was cool.

I'd guess the police did the full-dress "rush to the hospital with sirens" despite the material witness thing because when they phoned the hospital director, presumably to say "can you arrange for Tenma to speak to us" he told the detective he'd just acted strangely by suddenly resigning. Presumably Luge then suspected Tenma was going to try and run, and so they upped the response level?

Another thing with the time jumps is the attention to detail. Not much of a spoiler but Dr. Tenma's hair grows longer as the series goes by.

While it's easy to hate Eva, and I definitely dislike her too, I think it's easy to forget she likely has these crazy expectations placed on her by her father too. Even though he's now gone, she was brought up with certain expectations to "succeed" in life. And for her (and maybe just a sign of the times this is set in), that success came with marrying someone who is or will be in a position of importance.

im here early today, i see you are enjoying monster and in my opinion it only gets better and better. This is a masterpiece of an anime. Love your reactions luke, we are near the ending of demon slayer sadly, but there will be monster for a while.
