Castle in the Sky | Anime Movie Livestream | REACTION!

I'm not liking you, you're weirder than hell

It's not a Ghibli movie, But I feel like you'd really like the anime movie "Patema Inverted"

Woah what a pleasant surprise! Time to make some Popcorn. This movie is the sole reason I got into anime as a child. Definitely my favourite Ghibli movie!

21:00 “I thought she couldn’t remember…” Well, yes and no. The subtitles don’t quite match the Japanese for this whole movie. My guess is that the subtitles line up with the English dub (maybe). Sheeta remembers that they’re pirates, but when Pazu asks “Are they after you?” She responds in Japanese with “Saa…”, which is the vocal equivalent of a shrug - she isn’t sure if they’re after her or not. The subtitles so far don’t seem to be that great, but they’re good enough.

Oh man, I love this film. I always watched this in dub (all Ghibli dubs are fantastic, they're done by Disney) & Pazu sounds so different!

never seen it. I didnt feel like watching zghibli nearly my entire life, the only one i v seen is Mononoke Hime. Loved it but whenever I seen material from their movies I just felt bored. I will check it out with you tho.

Old anime movies before ghibli often based on Japanese backrounds, Miyazaki Hayao said he wants to create his own fantasy universe based on europe, so yes it's england mixing some french or something.

Fun Fact: the iron golems in minecraft were inspired by the gardening robot. They used to give flowers to players like it did to the Sheeta and Pazu

8:25 It’s apparently modelled after some old Welsh mining towns.

I wish you would react to Wolf Children

If you liked this world you would love Last Exile it's heavily inspired by this film. Sadly I doubt you will see it any time soon because it's a true hidden gem, maybe react to the opening and see how many people remember it.

Man, i swear ive heard this theme (from the start) somewhere.... but i never watched the movie EDIT: wait... was there a similar song in Demon Slayer? 23:05 I can see where Plastic Neesan drew inspiration from :D

Day 3 of asking Luke to react to Fate/Stay night UBW Abridged by Project Mouthwash.

Firefly anime..... Studio ghibli have one . Just a true story anime... Not sure if you will want to watch it live reaction wise

This film is what my late dad introduced to me when I was 4, and it's the anime that i look forward to watch reruns every year and i memorized each line by heart (it was an early English dub) Pretty much what got me started to be obsessed in anime and throw myself into the story haha Miss him so much and this one will always make me remember him

If you are watching these films you have to watch Nausicaa of the valley of the wind! Great film you’ll love it!

Of all Ghibli movies, this one's my favourite. Howl's a close second tho. I'm a sucker for ancient civilizations and floating cities
