I honestly think Throfinn is weaker, because he's no longer is fueled by his hatred towards Askeladd. He has no reason to be strong anymore. Like he said himself he is an empty man. But at the same time lets not forget that Thors was about 40 when he died and Thorfinn is now about 20. Thors was still very strong after nearly 15 years of living in Iceland. I don't think Thorfinn would be weaker because he isn't fighting. I'm not 100% sure about the ages but they are close give or take a year or two.

Sverkel giving the best advice and being there to help move Thorfinn's character forward. Pater being the most understanding and having the willingness to believe Einar and Thorfinn. Einar seeing and encouraging Thorfinn's growth.

this is truly the best season/arc of anything made ever, tied with aot season 4 ofc. its so good

Best episode coming tomorrow, hell yeah

few weeks ago i went ahead and finished the entire season. This is now one of my all-time favorite animes. Also the dream at the begining was more in the lines of "my past self wouldve just killed them without flinching".

If its the episode I think it is, next episode is one of the best written episodes of TV I've ever seen. Period.

Something I love about Farmland Saga is how Thorfinn learns all these useful skills that he would've picked up if he stayed at home, and then some He's becoming a more complete person and not just a pint-sized killing machine

There is so much to say but the next episode is so intertwined with this one that I will have to wait until tomorrows episode. I will say though that Thorfinn's punch when I first saw it was quite a surprise. On the one hand I was happy to see him fight back and not be passive, but on the other hand it just feels like everything he has been trying to get away from. He has been trying to put violence behind him, but he lost himself for a moment to anger again.

Well, I can't wait for the next one.

I'm a week behind, but will definitely be caught up for tomorrow's episode 🥺
