Hey! So. I have been working on a memoir about going through the Intensive Outpatient Program in 2019 and posting up each rough comic chapter as I finish it here, on this very Patreon.
Ideally I'd like to get this first draft done, then, like, polish it up, draw it nice, expand on and delete the bits that need it, and... turn it into a physical book? Will it be crowdfunded? Will it be traditionally published? I HAVE NO IDEA. I'm just focusing on what I can do right now in the present, which is: transcribe my notes, journal entries, and collages that I made during that time into these rough comic pages, one at a time.

Nov. 2, 2022: I'm now revising my first draft based off of notes from my agent and Matt. New scenes are being added, existing scenes are getting reworked, and some scenes are getting axed entirely. When I have new pages to share, I will! The goal is to get it presentable to publishers and see if I can't pick up an advance from one to take Space Camp to its finished form and have a nice book at the end. Failing that, I'll probably crowdfund a self-published version. Who knows what the future holds!
Aug. 17, 2023: Updated, expanded, and redrawn Day Two! 2nd draft.
Dec. 23, 2023: The 3rd (and final?) draft of the Day Two chapter is currently being serialized here. (9/2024: Added the PDF of the completed first draft as a download)
July 8, 2025: Oh wow, I shoulda updated this a while ago, but the book pitch is currently out and being reviewed by publishers! Wish me luck!
