This is a comic I drew exclusively for the second volume of my autobio series DAR! in 2010, as an incentive to get people to buy the book even if they'd already read the rest of the comics online. The book is now looong out of print, but you can still read the eBook version through my shop!

So, story. When my (still friends) ex-husband and I got together, he moved from Australia to here to be with me. Long story short, I'm trans, he's straight, but we were ride or die and genuinely in love (just a platonic one that didn't work as a relationship). A friend of his asked about it, and it went something like this: Friend: "So let me guess. You've got a girlfriend who lives in Canada." Ex: "Ha ha ha, *no*. Of course not! ..... he's a *boyfriend*." Friend: "Wait. I thought you were straight!" Ex: "I am!" Friend: "So .... are you getting with him for the green card?" Ex: "No, for the pussy."
