I haven't had an issue with either, honestly. That being said the non rod seems to print a little faster.
Both please. They perform differently on different types of printers.
I'd love to see non rods on all the dragons.
I honestly like both
ive actually only had issues with the new leg design. the thickness (using 4 walls) has snapped on where it loops on the dragon side.
I love the new legs. I had issues when the rods fused, the legs would snap off. I can't wait to see this on the Rose and Woodland dragons.
Non rods work better in both FDM and especially SLA

I love the new legs without the rods. I wish the rose and woodland dragons had those. I subscribed for dragons and I think all of them are awesome! Can't wait to see what else you come up with 😊

I've had several of the rod legs snap off. I use a Mars 2 resin printer.
I've had way fewer issues now than I did with the rods, from fusing or breaking. The new design is much better
