Hi Cinders!
Hope you all had a great holiday! I'm so excited to have you all here for DECEMBER 2024! This month is going to go a little differently! Since I have a few more models to release that are holiday themed, they will be releasing first in the month and as fast as we can possibly get them out to you! :)
Starting with December's Dragon: The Gingerbread Dragon!
PLUS Snowflake Cookie Keychain!
We have included a .3MF Multi-color file to really make the icing and gumdrops pop! (For my multi-color I made the gumdrops all the same color but the file has them separate) I decorated it with iconic icing snowflake cookies and designed the body to look like it had icing scales! I love it so much and I hope you all enjoy it!

All my designs are print-in-place (unless otherwise specified) and require no supports. All you need is a clean bed and you're off!
Designs are tested between 60%-100% for strength and articulation! I will not release a design that is too fragile at these sizes. All designs go through our Cinder Test Team!
Print Settings: .2 Layer height, 15% infill, gyroid infill, no brim, and no supports. (If there are smaller parts of your print that have a hard time staying stuck to the plate, please try a brim around those parts) Any errors regarding floating regions can be safely ignored.

How do you connect the 3 pieces for the body? I just printed it and it's not connected. I'm new to 3D printing and wasn't sure.
The model is 100% connected, something happened that shouldnt have if its in pieces

How long did it take to print the multicolor model? 1 - 2 days?

Just starting mine now. Sucks when you have to work and have a couple projects due already! But, my new Bambu Cool Super Tack plate just came in, so I am printing it on the new plate. Default plate temp is 45 degrees. With four color on my P1S, it will take 45hrs!
Mine took 29hrs at 100%. What size are you printing at?
Amazing print, a friend did it on his A1 and looks incredible, waiting for Boxing Day to get a mutli color printer.
Anyone try scaling to 70% and print on mini ?
All models are testing between 60-100% It'll work!
Finished the gingerbread dragon last night! Wish I could share a pic. Came out great! 30hrs on the P1P for me with no resizing.

I made this one over night. Just came off the build plate. I love him. But I am curious. The cookie at the end of the tail should it swing up and down. I scaled my dragon down to 80% I think. And the tail goes up but not down. I feel if it gets forced down it’s going to snap. I don’t love making prints that will break in kids hands is this because it’s scaled down or does the hole in the cookie need to be a bit bigger? Thank you for any help or answers?

Can I use a resin printer for all of these prints including ones in the past ?
For the most part the answer is yes but they generally do not get tested in resin anymore
it is going to be one hell of a paint job but totally worth the time

Anyone else having trouble trying to open in Bambu studio? it keeps saying to update to the newest version and will only let me open it in single color form
Try adding 4 filaments in the prepare screen then bringing the file in :)

These are so adorable but these needed to come out last month or the month before. We have to print, photo and get out stock and sales on Christmas stuff is already falling off. Again Love the prints and they will be great for next year but its hard to make this stuff work when it comes out this late.
I made it as soon as I was able to and made a point to release it ASAP. I'm sorry if that wasn't soon enough for you :)

Is anybody else having issue with the COLOUR file? Mine appears as as one colour. (I checked both files)
It's the same as any other 3mf I put out! Make sure your slicer is up to date! I cannot guarantee it will work on Anycubic Slicer however
