🐐 Defend Your GOAT
Alright BTG fam, let's see where everybody stands. 😂
You can keep ONE artist's entire catalog.
Everybody else disappears forever.
Albums.
Features.
Mixtapes.
Leaks.
Everything.
Who's your pick?
But here's the catch:
If somebody already picked your artist, don't make a new comment.
👉 Go heart their comment.
👉 Reply to it.
👉 Add to the argument.
👉 Recruit some allies.
This isn't a suggestion thread. It's a campaign.
Tell us why your artist deserves to survive.
Is it consistency? Longevity? Versatility? Impact? Nostalgia? Did they soundtrack a certain chapter of your life?
And if somebody else's pick is crazy... respectfully let them know that too. 😂
I want to see debates. I want to see alliances form. I want to know what this community is really standing on.
Let's hear it.

I don’t like her personality anymore but Nicki Minaj is and always will be the goat! She versatile like EDM, Rap, RnB, Pop, Drill etc
Steve lacy cuz, I ain’t gon ask again bruh
If talking rap, Drake. R&B, Weeknd 🙏🏼
You can only pick one
K.Dot is the greatest Rap Artist of all time. And I'm a hardcore Lupe stan lol. There's never been a rapper with a more concentrated pen than Kendrick, he literally serves purpose in every track in a project. He tells the best stories outside of possibly NAS. He has the commercial successes that few have achieved, while never compromising his artistry. Even his interludes are some of the best in the game lol A Mixtape like "Section 80" or "Overly Dedicated" have so much substance and creativity he's also done work there, even as early as his C4 mixtape. There might be other rappers I personally connect to more, but few have impressed me the way Kendrick has time and time again. Next to 3-Stacks I don't think there's a more complete artist. He also gives soundtracks to movements like BLM and George Floyd protests, showing his music can soothe in challenging times. I think other than PAC he's the last vanguard of the MIC. Unapologetically him, and has been the best rapper for a LONG time.
YL DO GOT BARS! 🔥

Why?
J Cole, from a versatility standpoint to my personal liking, being one of those artists for me where songs are replayed forever through multiple projects one I personally think is underrated and one of my favorite albums beyond the cliche Forest Hill Drive in which is great too, wit The Off Season I still find myself going back to a lot of songs from it with different vibes like 95 south to hype me up or chill consciously with something like hunger on the hillside (in which is my favorite song on the album)
Lupe Fiasco hands down is the Goat He has at least 4 classics He never misses on features And like he said back in the day Fahrenheit 1/15 is being quoted by preachers (mixtapes) He persevered through major label interference with Atlantic And Food and Liquor leaked too Mural is in the discussion for best rap song of all time he's the goat
Wayne all day
But why tho
Jigga. Discography (at least 8 albums that are really great and even the weaker ones still have tons of all time hov songs), he always has a flow for all types of different beats, longevity (4:44, GOD DID Verse, Roots picnic freestyle), his confidence and “swag” has always been infectious, probably the best live performer in hip hop, and his impact on the game is obviously insane as well. It’s a basic pick but I’m not just gonna say Big L who had one album to be different lol, Jay has carried my hip hop soundtrack for a very very long time
Never mad at Hov in the 🐐 convo!
Lil Wayne easy! Wayne has been relevant in hip hop since he was 15 years old and he is still making good music in his 40’s. He also has the greatest mixtape run EVER! Not only does he classic mixtapes, he has classics albums as well, plus he’s one of a few hip hop artists to sell a milli in a week! He arguably has the greatest impact in hip hop history also. All the “Lil’s” exist because of him. He also indirectly impacted hip hop by mentoring artists like Drake and Nicki Minaj. Wayne is THE GOAT 🐐
Good call, what would you say to people who say his mixtapes are better than his albums? And that his later albums have been pretty weak.
Nas no questions
Great choice! But why tho??
lil wayne
When it comes to mixtapes features and leaks nobody tops Wayne
Drake
But why tho?
Kanye West has THEE best discography in all of rap
That’s my goat for sure 🐐
Light skin Jermaine Lamarr Cole. He checks off all the boxes of an elite rap artist. he’s consistent, have the longevity, versatility and impact. he’s on tour right now and if you seen the footage, ppl are losing their minds. the bars. the production. the projects from mixtapes to studio albums. the relatability and wit. your favorite rapper’s favorite rapper
Valid take! ✅
