Plans for April
PRINT & PASTE
I’ve put the random dungeon thing on the back-burner for a while (though it’s definitely not forgotten) – just while I work on a few other things.
The first of these will be a new sci-fi pdf – which will contain a few things to make a station/colony look a bit more lived in. Below are some of the VERY early prototypes.
So, if there’s anything that you think would make a good addition to this set (i.e. stuff that would fit in with a kind of ‘barracks’ theme), feel free to drop those ideas below.
MAPS
I’ve also been playing around with the idea of just grabbing a bunch of mini’s I have lying around (ones with a similar theme), painting them up as quick as I can, and then writing a basic adventure around them.
Here’s the mini’s I chose…
...and here they are after a quick basecoat and a couple of washes.
As such, that adventure will likely need a map – so that might end up being this month’s VTT map(s) if that’s OK.
OTHER NEWS
And finally, if you missed it, I also did an interview of sorts over on AJ Pickett’s channel. You can find it HERE if you’re interested :)

Have you thought about doing a Sci-Fi theme for the VTT tiles? Spaceships, Underwater bases and bases on enviromentally hostile worlds ( like Mars) would be rather interesting as they would rather suit a collection of VTT corridors and rooms.
It's crossed my mind a few times (and it might be something to try out in the future) - but, truth be told, I'm feeling less and less enthusiastic about the modular VTT tiles as time goes on - so the whole thing needs a bit of a shake-up I think. It's probably something I need to ask folks about... like do folks actually use them much? and/or would it bother them much if I started to concentrate more on the terrain side of things? So, I might just end up doing a few specific encounter/adventure maps for a while... and see how that goes.
