Discord server up and running
I've had a go at setting up a discord server (for random chat, posting terrain pics, maps, etc.) - and if you want to join in, here's the link:
Furthermore, I can assign folks who join the server certain roles ...but the only one I'm thinking of setting up is 'patreon supporter' ...so if you want to be put into that group* just let me know what your discord name is (either comment below or send me a private message), and I'll get right on it.
*as I might make a patron only section - if folks think something like that would be handy?

I think this is a good way to do it :) I'm going to join now. You can set up the Patreon Discord bot to automatically assign role(s); but it also means that patrons automatically get added to the server every month when their pledge goes through, which annoys some people.
For some reason I only just saw this :S Anyway, I did find the auto-assign thing - so I tried that out (and it added everyone automatically - whether the liked it or not) ...so I appologise for that (I thought it would just assign the role IF they joined the server ...not add them to the server regardless of their wishes :( ). On the other hand - it doesn't seem to have added you (assuming you are using the same name) - which is weird. I'll do it manually now :)
