W.I.P. Tiles & Textures
PRINT & PASTE
Since the Patreon campaign also includes the 'print & paste' stuff now, I've attached a pdf file to this (patron only) post, that contains a few things that haven't made it onto YouTube yet.
The first of these is a simple breastplate ...and the idea behind this is that you would glue the texture to a piece of thin (cereal box style) cardboard, cut it to size, and then give it a curved shape by pressing down on the underside (into a mousemat or similar) with a glass marble.
The second texture, I'm not so happy with, but it's what I used to make the burning planks in this preview:
So, each 'plank' is cut from a sheet of thin cardboard that's had some of this texture glued upon either side. As I say, it's not great - but it kinda looks OK.
And the last things on the sheet are a couple of drain overlays (which I usually print out on cardstock, and then (after cutting them out) place them on top of the existing tiles wherever I might need one).
VTT
For the next batch of VTT tiles, I'm planning on making a bunch of dead-end tunnels ...basically the outlines you can see below.
So, I'll probably get started on these this week, and hopefully get them posted before the weekend :)

And that's it for this little update!

hey Kris! Was wondering if you have a texture of lava. I was going to make up some cavern tiles thought lava rivers and pools would be good along with the collection. Just an Idea! keep up the great work
I did have a go at drawing a lava texture for the print & paste stuff a while back - but it didn't work out ...and so I put it on the back burner (with the intention on coming back to it at a later date). So, when I eventually get around to doing some more cave stuff, I'll give it another try :)
