Modular dungeon… in a box!
It’s probably been around a month and a half since my last video, so I’m very happy to finally get this one done :)
As you’ll (hopefully) see, a fair amount of work has gone into this one (hence the delay)… but I have to admit, I’m pretty pleased with how it’s turned out.
The eagle-eyed among you might also notice that there is still a bit of extra space inside the box for a couple more clip-on features… and the reason for that is because I might see if I can add some windows (and maybe some 1” wide doors) in the future.
But for now, I’m calling it done – so here’s hoping you like it!

I love the clip-on doors idea to attach rooms and hallways together. I am especially in love with that *amazing* secret door tile. I was wondering if you had any other secret door artwork that would work the same way. I do see the Secret Hole overlay from Episode 58, which would work as an underground secret passage as well. I'll definitely be using that as well. But specifically, I am looking to see if you have ever made something similar to the clip-on door from this episode (with the section of the brick wall opening into shadows) using the "cobblestone walls" texture from way back in Episode 1, and prevalent in a lot of your earlier works? Many of your earlier features (Doors [from Episodes 4, 24, 49, 69], Alcoves [Episodes 15, Community Challenge 2025], Traps [Episode 59], Levers [Episode 14], etc.) all feature that cobblestone wall texture, and I'm looking specifically for a Secret Door to match. I would love to see something like that! Cheers!
I don't have anything like that at the moment - but it is something I've been thinking about... as something like that would also be handy for my 2D tiles (which I'm playing around with at the moment :D ).
Hoping to get a chance this weekend to make this and others from your collection. Love them all!
Thanks... and good luck!
Ooo looks fabulous!
Thanks :)
That is very cool! My brain is working hard to see what I can do with the sci-fi PDFs to replicate this. :D
Just be aware that I did have to resize things to make everything fit (otherwise the extra 1mm wall thickness starts to throw things out of alignment).
