Bonus Sci-Fi Textures
If you've seen my latest YouTube video, or been following my blog, then you might know that I've been trying out a bit of (solo) sci-fi dungeon crawling recently.
In those games I've been using the (fantasy) 2D dungeon tiles that I made a while back (as you can see in the picture above) - as I didn't want to go through the hassle of making a whole new set of tiles for a game I might only play a handful of times.
However, in order to give them a slight sci-fi feel, I did make a new door that could be slotted into the old frame, and a new room tile that could act as 'the quest room' or similar (I've also recently modified a new dead end passage too).
Anyway, I might do a bonus/tips video about these in the future... but in the meantime I thought I would share them here :) (see the attachment).
As I say, it's not a full overhaul of the 2D tiles, or anything like that - just a couple of additional bits and pieces that can add a slight sci-fi/industrial feel to them.
So, here's hoping you like 'em :D

Gives it a DUNE type feel. I am going to definitely give this a go.👍
Oh yeah! 😎
Brilliant! Gives a bit of 40k vibe with the old and new together.
