Something a little different.

As you probably know if you're a member of the Discord (or follow some of my social media nonsense), the next video will likely feature a little (sci-fi) shuttle.

But, as seems to be the case with the sci-fi stuff), it's taking a little longer than expected... though I am getting there slowly :D

Anyway, over the past couple of days I've managed to get the wings pretty much done, and (for anyone who might be interested) I thought it might be a nice idea to share a picture of how some of this stuff goes from a prototype to the (mostly) finished artwork.

 And, the idea for the wing is that it could be made in one piece OR you can do like I've done here, and add some extra panels to the top to make it slightly more 3D looking.

Now, the hope was to try and get this finished (and the video out) this month... but that's looking increasingly unlikely.

I've also been doing a little bit of solo gaming over on the blog - and trying out my solo dungeon tiles/cards again (this is something I do once a year it seems :) )...

...and even though I've used them slightly differently than before - they seemed to work well enough in this sci-fi game.

Though, I did make a couple of new pieces to make things a little more sci-fi looking (i.e. a new door slot and a 'quest room' tile)...

...and this is something I'll probably expand upon in the future (if there is any interest?).

So, as you can see, I'm very much in a sci-fi mood at the moment (making sci-fi stuff for the channel, playing a few sci-fi games, and painting sci-fi miniatures)... but I don't know how long that will last (though I do also want to add some new magnetic cave tiles to the 'dungeon shorts' series... I was hoping to get around to that this month as well :S ).

But yeah... that's what I'm up to at the moment - nothing super interesting - but I thought it was time for a little update :)

So, thanks again for your continued support, and with any luck I'll get this 'shuttle' video out late this month or early next (fingers crossed).
