Getting close to my 100th episode!

While there are closer to 200 uploads over on the channel at the time of writing this (if you include the tips videos, the build along series, and so on), the next ‘proper’ episode that I release will be episode number 99!

And that begs the question… should I do anything special for episode 100?

Now, all of the ‘numbered episodes’ are tutorials – so it will have to be something like that (rather than a retrospective style video – which I already did in any case... back in September… when I celebrated the 10 year anniversary of the first ‘print & paste’ pdf that I released on my blog), and I wouldn’t really want it to stray away from the usual format of a video tutorial with an accompanying pdf.

If I were a smarter person, I might have saved the ‘dungeon box’ for this episode (as that was a bit of a special/one-off video) – but it’s too late for that now… so it’s a bit of a conundrum.

However, I’m currently thinking that I might just release episode 100 (whatever that turns out to be), without much fanfare (and just treat it like any other episode)… and then maybe do a follow up bonus video where I mention the fact that I’ve just surpassed 100 episodes – and do something special for that instead.

That being said, I’m not 100% sure what that ‘something special’ would be – the only thing that springs to mind at the moment is another ‘community challenge’ video (like this one HERE… and the ONE that followed up on it).

This would likely come just before the Christmas Holidays… giving folks adequate time to get their ‘builds’ done, and send me a pic, before for the deadline (or do I have that backwards? and some folks will be MORE busy over the holidays… and will have less time to craft than usual?).

So, as you can see, the whole ‘100 episodes’ things has crept up on me… and so I thought I’d make this post to see if anyone has any thoughts and opinions on the stuff I’ve posted above.

As I say, it would be nice to do ‘something’ ...I’m just not entirely sure what :)
