The Future
I think its been apparent that this place is kinda in disrepair to say the least...
I've been stuck in the middle of the choice of going further with my art in terms of a career or sticking to the realism of getting a job irl
I've been job searching for so long now and I feel like I'm not cut out for it... A lot of changes in my life have been happening and I don't know which way to go with everything.
Part of me wants to do more with this but I'm not sure what I could do. I tried a YCH scenario a couple times and it didn't pan out how I wanted. Maybe character pools are something I can try instead? Whether that is IPs or OCs is still in the air.
If you guys have any suggestions, please let me know! Otherwise, I hope you guys have been doing well all things considered with the state of the world right now~

I could see a character pool going well. Spin a wheel and draw from a pool of characters every month and do a little sketch or something with them. (probably with a limit on people getting it twice in a row) I have some other patreons that have done that well

If YCHs aren’t your thing maybe you can try “pay what you want” (with some sort of minimum if that is a concern) sketches where you have creative control? I love giving an artist creative control to use my OC however they want x3
