300 - Monday Posts.
Hello and welcome to another Monday Post. How is everybody doing? The October is almost over. Where the heck did all the time go? It's will be year 2024 before we know it -_-
Patreon. Apparently new update introduced even more "improvements" than I originally thought. Commenting in the public posts is restricted by default now so I had to go and undo that. And while doing that I discovered that we now have a "harmful" comments filter. I don't know if it was added recently or was there for a long time now, but I see Patreon continues to move towards progress. Fills my heart with joy.
New color theme. My old color theme got "updated" which made it impossible to distinguish between "like" button pressed/not-pressed color, since it was grey and a bit darker grey. Well, I made some changes and now our new color theme is puke-orange and everything works as it should.
The work. The main problem I had to solve last week was figuring out how to do a repeatable New Year's Celebration event with your wives. Well, I am happy to tell you that the problem has been solved and I am already full at work at creating art assets and writing little interaction scenes. I would like to thank Ragnarok and MrLazare for their comments and suggestions that ultimately lead me to settling down on the exact way I want to do this.
Happy New Year. So, here is how I will be doing this. The celebration will consist of 2 stages. Stage one is the feast with the guests. Each each extra wife you have will bring more guests, mostly related to her story arc but also some extra side-characters. I will be going for that family-get-together feeling.
Stage 2. After the feast you will be able to choose who (or how many) of your wives you would like to take to the roof for a better view of the fireworks. At this point it will be basically one educational scene after another with the last wife getting the happy ending. There are a few details I still need to figure out and quite a few extra drawings I need to create, but in any case, that's the plan. This shall be the last one of the major events for the game. Wish me luck.
And that is all. This was post 300 but there is no celebration. I will see you all next Monday.

300, well I shall celebrate for you! Also yeah, the likes thing was getting hard to see, I thought I was just going blind lol. Well, I'm gonna bust out the confetti and candy and a good healthy dose of bacon to party with! Here's to 300 more, hopefully mostly full of good news and a lot less people tinkering with unbroken sites... seriously, they gotta stop sooner or later right?

Yeah, I do love working on these games and I think it separates me from actual professionals these days. I mean, sure my recourses are limited, but at least I care about what I do, and not just show up for work like majority of the professional game industry workers these days. Another great thing is that, thank to you (and others like you) I have no upper management to answer to, so I don't have to justify my crazy ideas to anyone, I just work. Honestly that's precious. Thank you for making it possible.

You've achieved the seemingly impossible - 300 consecutives Monday updates! 🤩 it's like you've unlocked the "Master of Consistency" achievement in the game of life.... Each of your monday update is like a superhero's cape, swooping in to rescue us from the sadness of the start of the week.🦸♂️ I'm looking forward to discovering these sequences around the New Year, especially the feast with all the secondary characters who gravitate around the plots/girls. It's going to be great 🤩 After the New Year event; there's still the "beauty contest" to do, and then all the gamepaly mechanisms for QT will be finished?
I think I will hold off on the beauty context for now. After New Year's Feast is finished I will probably focus on finishing up what is already in the game. There are quite a few placeholders in the game when it comes to backgrounds and some of the secondary characters. Some events need additional writing fixes. I will continue to talk about that in my posts as I move along. For now though I will be busy with the New Year's event still. Will be making a post today and plan to show off quite a few new drawings :)

To be fair there is an option to choose another color, there are several presets. But that doesn't change the fact that things used to be better before the update.
I 'love' the update so much I actually wrote them a 'congratulations' letter through the support system. I hope whatever executive thought this was a good idea gets 'promoted' in Minecraft.
