The work. Like I already mentioned in the public post, this week I was working on the Harvest Competition event. It will be a relatively short yearly event that took me some time to plan out because of how reactive it will be to the players actions. In short, the event itself unfolds in 4 different ways depending of your current gardening level. Basically you can get awarded with places 1 to 3 or no place at all. But at the same time there will be changes depending on the girl you invite. Or if you go alone, which is also possible. The entire thing makes perfect sense in my head, but it is difficult to explain exactly, so I created this little diagram for you to try and illustrate what I mean. Take a look:
Basically 4 different events multiplied by 6+ different girls you can invite. That is a lot of stuff to plan, test and write of course. The art assets will remain in the placeholder state for now since that is the simplest thing to do for me and I will work on it closer to the release.

I just watched the video, everything in it is amazing but the acrylic brick of Witch Trainer is something I really need in my life, I am also really happy to see a fuck-bike-girl, she is amazing. Mr. Lazare, you are a gentleman and a scholar for creating such high quality merch and sending it to our leader, but I guess it is only natural to have high quality merch for high quality games and art. Also, the Queen Trainer trailer was super adorable. I am really glad to be a part of this community.
Amusingly, one of the games I had all planned out, I did the same kind of scenario mapping.
Yeah, it's useful to do to keep track of things. But to be honest I usually just keep all that stuff in my head. ^^
So no first place for a huge pumpkin then? So it needs to be a MASSIVE pumpkin then. In all fairness can't wait.
Ha-ha-ha. Yeah. With 1st place you get a trophy and basically should feel like you really accomplished something. After that you can still participate but will only get monetary reward for the first place. ^^

Free tips : How do I make my pumpkins grow bigger? => Pump up your soil. Use lots and lots of rich compost and treat with fertilizer every other day. Prune your plants, so energy is directed toward growing the pumpkin and not the vines. Grow one pumpkin per plant to make sure that the pumpkin gets the maximum amount of energy. To grow really big pumpkins, the most important thing to remember are seeds, soil, sunshine, and water. By mid-August the plants are pulling in water and nutrients at a great rate. Night-time is when pumpkins do their growing; some will expand five inches in circumference every night.
Is it weird that I actually read this with actual interest? I guess I am getting old and eventually will really get into growing vegetables and by a bunch of chickens. ^^

Looks like it'll be interesting to see the different endings but yeah that looks like it'll be a bunch of work.
Well, I don't make these endings too epic or anything, I don't want the player to feel like he is missing out if he decides to never invite the girls he is not very interested in. But yes, this variety does take a bit of extra time. It should add to the final experience those, so it's all gone worth it (I hope :).
