295 - Finally Done With The Garden.
Hello bros. How have you been? Did you have a good week? Did you have a shitty week? Well it doesn't matter all that much, really. The last week has ended and the new one is starting, time for another Monday Post.
RED NOTICE. Watched another decent movie last week. It is official now: Netflix has produced at least 2 movies that are propaganda free: 6UNDERGROUD and RED NOTICE. For me personally it was fun to see another Hollywood depiction of Russia (or Russian prisons at least). A lot of action, a lot of silliness, but all in all it was just a lighthearted action adventure movie that I had fun watching. That is all I usually want from a movie, really. ^^
The Games. Put on pause FA:Awakening for a while. Downloaded Saints Row 2 (The best one, IMHO). To my surprise steam had my old save-files stored on a cloud somewhere. According to this screenshot it has been 10 years since I played this game last time. Running around the Steelport city and soaking in the atmosphere made me feel very nostalgic :)
The work. I am finally done with the Garden bit. The whole thing took me around one month and a half I think. A lot of effort went into it, but I think the final result will be worth it. And the best part is I managed to keep spoilers to the minimum so you will be able to discover a lot of surprises along the way.
What's next? Now I will be moving on to another side activity: owning a fruitstand. This one won't have any side stories attached to it, so all I need to do is draw a few things and code it in. Shouldn't take all that long.
Anyway, that is all I have to say for now. Thank you for your support. I'll see you all next week.

Hmm another movie to add to my one day watch on Netflix list (I have two gift cards for that service I"m yet to redeem as I lack time to watch). That said Saints Row 2 screenshot has me interested (I own a copy never had a chance to play). I see a pattern forming
Yeah. The older you get the harder it is to find the time. But what is much worse is that sometimes you do find the time, but you have no energy left to enjoy your hobbies. -_-
Thanks for the update. I am sure that if you think it was worth the wait, I am sure it was more than worth it. Really happy spoilers are being kept to the minimum, can't wait to get into the world you have created for us
I couldn't have said it better
just keep it easy my lord, we can wait, the wait make it even cooler
Thanks. I actually do need to hear this every now and again. Feel free to repeat this in a couple of weeks. I am not being sarcastic, I swear, this sort of comments is gold to me.
This week's gif is from: Saint's Row 2 (but you probably already knew that)
^_^
Thanks Aka! Keep up the great work! :)
Thanks! I will! Promise!
SR2 best one
Truth.
That game looks fun
It's gonna break the internet on the day of release. If it doesn't I'll be very cross with you guys.
Ay, happy Monday! Glad to hear things are shipshape and you even got in a decent movie! Keep up that energy!
Thanks Trevor. I always appreciate your support!
The best way to get your girlfriend to play Akabur's future game: "In this game you can grow a garden and then sell all the fruits at the market" 😇
Yes. Queen Trainer is will be a farming simulation aimed at women. I hope you guys didn't expect another educational game or anything :)
I played Saints row 3, I hadn't considered playing the previous ones, I thought 3 was great haha funny and it made you see how the fucking boss was very funny. I'm glad to know that you moved closer every day to seeing that masterpiece.
SR2 is very different from SR3 in tone. It's also silly but never becomes and outright circus like SR3 and even much more so SR4. If you ever find the time to play SR2 I hope you will like it :)
MONDAY POST 295 AKABUR: Now I will be moving on to another side activity: owning a fruitstand. This one won't have any side stories attached to it MONDAY POST 296 AKABUR: GUYS i have tons of idea with the sister in law of "THE BEST GIRL" you can cuck is evil brother with is woman also i will take me one month ME : WORTH IT!!!
You confused me to no end with your suggestion :) The best girl is obviously Maslab. But who the heck is his sister in law supposed to be?
Saints Row 2 Right when I saw that pic in your post, my mind said only one thing. DOWNLOAD IT AND PLAY!!! I want to do it so hard.. How many years has it been
Did you find the time to download it and play it at least for a bit again? I really hope so :)
SR2 is fantastic, and Red notice is good, congrats on the garden, keep it up
Thanks man. I'm glad you agree with me on this :)
You're definitely right, SR2 is the best one. Keep up the great work 👍
Yup. Glad you agree with me on this one. I wish for more good SR games to be released in the future, but probability of that happening is a literal zero. Well at least nobody will ever be take SR2 away from us :)
