L.O.L.A. Ver.02
Hello guys.
I've been quiet for a while now, but I hope most of you know that when I go quiet like this it usually means only one thing: I'm basking in the solitude of my AKA-cave working on something importnat. That was the case this time as well...
The problem I was wrestling with was Lola's appearance.
Version 00 above was drawn a while back and it never even made it to the inking stage. Version 01 however was approved and I felt completely satisfied with her design at first... Satisfied to the point where I went ahead with coloring it and even adding all the facial expressions... So, yeah, I was satisfied with version 01 right to the point when I wasn't anymore... Yes, several days ago I looked at her and thought to myself in horror: "What was I thinking? She absolutely does not fit the role!"... A rather depressing realization to come to, but whatcha you gonna do... That the creative process for ya...
I don't always struggle THAT much with character designs, but it does happen sometimes for me.. I remember REdrawing Hermione's head quite a few times for example... But at the end I'm glad I did take that extra time to make sure she looks just right. Yes, "just right", that how I feel about version 02 Of Lola's design... Let's hope I won't wake up tomorrow realizing that I hate it even more...
Well for the moment I like it well enough. And to acknowledge the struggle I had to go through with this incarnation of her, I decided to call her "L.O.L.A. Ver. 2.0". Pretty clever, right? ^_^ And by the by, L.O.L.A. stands for "Lovably Odd Lifelike Avatar".
Thank you for all your support. Now that "the Lola crisis" was resolved I will be posting more frequently again... (Unless another unexpected crisis hits that is 0_0)
Thank you for your support, guys.

02 looks much younger, I like it! and I'm glas you changed your mind, concerning the design of 00 and 01. I think 02 fit's much better!
Like the uniform of 00 dont know why... But hey I guess all your work Is awesome.
Thanks :)
He'll outlive his support if he doesn't start getting some content out!
No need to underestimate my supporters. Some of the dudes here are pretty hardcore when it comes to doing the right thing.
I thought you died...
Bah, he`ll outlive most of us.
01 looks great, but it doesn't look like Lola. She's gotta have them pig tails.
^_^
01 looks awesome! Please consider to use it in the future. Maybe another character, even a not much important npc at least.
Maybe ^^
the silhouette looks great.
^_^
01 is amazing. Just gotta put that out there
Glad you like her design. Despite it's getting disregarded it did take some work... OTL...
neat lola silhouette
^^
That Shadow looks hot. I love it.
Heh ^^
2
^_^
Unf. She looks good.
The silhouette you mean? Thanks :)
Look all great to me... I like the hair and hat from version 00 as a kinky redhead ;)
I like the hat two. I definitely want to add some sort of hat like this into the game eventually... Like an accessory or something....
Great to hear from you, always nice to be reminded that you are still alive ^^ Sent a mail your way, read it when you have time.
Thanks. Sorry I go off the grid sometimes. (P.S. What email was that?)
Use Lola 1 for something else if she doesn't fit this current role, she could suit something else
Well, maybe. We'll see how it goes...
You can give her new name. And let this character live. (version 01) she is like strict soldier
Heh... Maybe... I could find a role for her later on. Not in the first release though...
Though she might not fit the role, I think version 01 looks amazing. Will you reuse her assets for a different character?
Thank... I did think I will be going with her, so I did my best to draw her as well as I could... But I really have no use for her now... Not at the moment anyways... But who knows what the future holds?
Please, just don't rape yourself, Aka-san. Did you heard? Sunsetriders7 got sick. Maybe it's an epidemy which spreads between creative people when they work too hard! Beware it mate!
Yeah, I heard... 0_0
Did she grow up? :)
She's younger in version 02. ^^
Wait, is it our Lola or a different Lola ? Anyway, she looks nice, I'm looking forward to see more of the game, keep up the good work and have a nice day my Hentai Lord :D
Well, it's gonna take me a while to explain. Just wait for the first release :)
Twintails wins always.
True that.
Looking awesome, she looks amazing ^^
^^
Man, I'm so envious of your drawing skills... Every time I see you on stream or here, I'm amazed by the quality of your drawings. #FullHomoBroWaifu Have a nice day, good luck and godspeed o/
No need to for envy, I assure you. With great power comes great responsibility, and all that jazz... Thank you for your support, BroWifu...
