217 - More Art Assets.
Hello dear bros, how is it going? Another Monday -- another Monday Post from your beloved omnipotent leader. Some things never change I guess. ^^
Good week. First of all I appreciate all the NEW pledges and all the CURRENT pledges that has been raised n tier last week. Thank you ^^

Also I appreciate all the "coffee" that has been donated on my BUYMEACOFFEE page last week. (Special thanks goes to Someone1). I made my first withdraw with that service so I can confirm that everything works fine.
The coins. I don't think I ever bothered that much about the amount of money I am making. Usually, as long as I had enough to feed myself, financial aspect had never even been on my radar. But the situation changed and now (even more then before) it is important for me to have a certain amount of money on my bank account by the end of summer. So, thank you for your help, guys.
NINTENDO. My NSO subscription still works so I decided to play some N64 games. Right now I am playing Ocarina Of Time. I just play it bit by bit whenever I have a free moment. So far I am enjoying it more than Skyward Sword. I have no nostalgic feelings for Zelda since Nintendo was never a thing in Russia back in my day, but it does not stop me from enjoying the game. :)
The work. Well, this was another productive week. I was very busy, mostly working on art assets. Created two new backgrounds (market and back street) and quite a few new chibi sprites that I will need for the rest of Iris's story.
SC34. This week for the first time in months I caught myself thinking about getting back to working on Star Channel. That's a good sign. I think as soon as QT is released I will start working on the second season right away. Have some rad ideas. But first things first :)
The Thoughts. I am trying to come up with some kind of rewards for the patrons. I am looking for something that wouldn't be too tasking on my part but at the same time something that would make it feel you like you are getting more value for pledging. If you have any ideas, please share them in the comments.

I think rewards for patrons is a good idea that came to your mind, I think it might even be some kind of physical reward
Yeah... Sending out some sort of prints or something sound rather appealing to me. Although it could prove to be a bit time consuming. In any case, I'll think about it :)
you could also make certian pledges limited so that it does not berden you too much
Yeah, I thought about that. But I haven't came up with any good ideas for rewards for this type of pledges....
You could have (High) pledger's have a NPC named after them like a store owner or some such and for (Base) pledgers you could add them to the credits or perhaps you could do a pledge exclusive of you working on drawings/asset design.
Yes, I know a few people do something similar. I need to think how I could implement something like this too, maybe. Thanks.
As for rewards I don’t know what to tell ya, I mean Dubsington’s suggestion seems pretty appealing to me. But in all honesty I love your Games AKAMAN, 😁 I’d contribute to your amazing talent regardless of any Tier Rewards

Zelda OoT should be a very fun experience for you (it can be challenging in regards to completely 100% the game, 😒 I should know I literally gun for it every play through having grown up with the series)
Yeah, there is no way I will 100% it. But I must at least beat it once. ^^ I am surprised to see that Ocarina of time has more in common with Breath of The Wild than Skyward Sword did.

Cannot wait for QT, but now, I am much more hyped for SC Season 2! Ashelin is love <3 (and so is Lara and Hermione and L.o.l.a.) Dubsington compiled a good list. Particularly like the outfit idea.

Just a simple idea for higher tiers... Send prints of one picture, maybe you could use some pictures of the game to print them and send them, I find the chibi so printable, in a small piece of papper with a note writed from you could be a nice touch, I think so...

Glad you're in a solid place today! I don't know what you'd do for rewards, I don't feel I need them but I get it's nice validation. Dubsington has a few good ones. (Please ignore anyone saying 'make nfts', that's a grift you don't need to be involved with)
The No Fucking Thankyou meme always makes me chuckle. But I always worry that maybe I am just behind that times when I feel like that. In any case, thank you for your support, Trevor. For now I will just consider all the suggestions and think what (if any) I could implement....
A good move for rewards is to let them request something that you can share with *all* your patrons. That way it's benefitting everyone, so spending time on it isn't so much of a loss to your overall work output. Some examples I've seen other creators do that worked out well: * Let them pick the outfit a girl will be wearing in a future scene * Let them decide which one of a list of minor characters will be introduced next (so you are introducing the same girls, just letting them control the order) * Let them choose the specific sex act a character will be performing later in the game (within limits) * Let them pick the subject of a wallpaper that you then let all patrons have * Let them pick the name of a minor character (within reason) * Let them put a message on a chalk board or graffiti in the background of a scene
Awesome idea, something else could also be adding more versions of a specific outfit, like in SC34. I know something like this could be a big task due to how integral outfits can be but would be amazing. Outfit variations/mix and match really add a lot to the games imo. Also, I could see choosing a scene/sex act being really popular. For pretty much all of these things, I think you could have a specific version as a thank-you for large donations and a general version every now and then for patreon benefits where there's a community-wide vote or something.
Maybe you can generate some NFT's to give it as reward to patrons?
NFTs... Every time anybody mentions that stuff my head is starting to hurt. But then again I used to have the same reaction toward discord. Maybe I should look into it -_-
