Since touching on the real state of things would be an equivalent of shooting myself in the foot I will not be doing it here.
I spent this week working pretty much non-stop. Burring myself is work always helps me to stay sane during touch situations. A lot has been done. I am concentrating on Iris's story arc at the moment. I will go into more details in the Monday Surprise post.
Oh, and Nintendo shut down it's services in Russia. It was done very matter-of-factly. Not as much as "sorry for the inconvenience". All the money people had on their Eshop accounts, all digital purchases, all paid in advance online subscriptions, Nintendo just took everything and vanished in a cloud of smoke. To be fair pretty much every other company did exactly the same. (I am surprised McDonalds is falling behind the cancel train). I still have my physical purchases of course, about a dozen of cartridges... Although I bet if they could they would come after them as well.

Just wanted to say, I know there is so incredibly much out of our hands in our own countries or different countries, when it comes to war, political BS, etc. There are really good and decent people everywhere, don't let anyone ever tell you different. I am in the US but affiliate with "human". Cheers and peace.

Unfortunately that's not how it works. It's not about your IP's location, it's about your nationality. Russian branch of Eshop simply does not exist anymore.
Bad situation all around. Yeah the one draw back of streaming and online services is you are at the mercy of the company. If I have some thing digital, I want the files safely backed up on my own hard drives. Movies and TV I'm similar I have a lot of shows and movies on Blu-ray. Saw a while back Netflix removed shows they didn't approve of the humor and that was just confirmation you can't rely on that stuff to always be there. Fingers crossed Patreon don't go down the cancel path.
Yeah, let's hope Patreon stays true to their word this time -_-
