Mating Season confirmed to release in 2018!
Well folks quite a few of you seem to be enjoying this Monday Post thing. Some of you even went as far as to say that sharing development progress was a good idea. Well, in that case I hope you now also enjoy the dark side of game development (or creating anything ever really): things not going as planned.
Seriously, several weeks ago what did I say? I said: "Mating Season is almost ready to be released", sheared some honest to god info with you. And here we are today and Mating Season is still not out. Welcome to the game development world. This has been my life for the past 5+ years now...
If you still want some more info: DAHR finished working on the title screen (and it's glorious by the way), but he is still working on the interface.
On the bright side of things, I am keeping busy with Episode 03 of SC34 and I won't say another word for now to avoid the unnecessary spoilers.
What else...? Well, today I had to renew my VPN subscription for another month... Can't believe it's already been a month without proper access to PSN here in Russia 0_0
Oh, and Overwatch anniversary is coming up. All the skins got leaked and there were barely any sexy ones... T_T But I am still looking froward to playing all the events I never got to play before. And the Witch Mercy skin of course.
Oh and I also went to see the Infinity War the other day... Tony Stark's new Nano-Magic suit made me laugh.
All in all, it's business as usual here and I have nothing segnificant to report this time. Thank you for your support and I'll see you next week. (Or in the comment section :)

Been awhile since I posted a comment my man Akabur, just wanted to say thank you for the regular updates and that I can't wait to try out Mating Season! It was those comms that got me hooked to your artwork and later your games and as you can imagine the anticipation is killing me! Fight the good fight! :D

We do love the monday post thing. Not everyone comments all the time, but i'm pretty sure they at least read every post (i do 😁). Also... The nano-magic suit is on the comics too, because... Comics 😂
Thanks Orlox. As for the costume, all I know - it looked really cheap to me. The only Ironman suit I liked was in the very first movie...

Yes I am considering it. Her or mercy maybe... It is still long way ahead still since April and Lara Croft should join the roster before anyone else.

Witch Mercy is a Halloween skin, gotta wait till October my friend. Though I will agree with you on the lack of sexy skins, especially Tracer, who they basically made look like Ellen Degeneres (gross). Symmetra's magician skin is ok, though the lack of a visor is really strange looking on her. I guess the only skin I really like is Brigitte's, which has a nice Viking feel to it to match her father's. Summer is the next event I'm looking forward to, gonna get my hands on that Grillmaster 76 skin I missed out on last year.
Fuck yeah! The paper bags are back :D :D Thanks for this weekly update Man! I can't wait to try Mating Season when it's ready, it's gonna be sooooooooo fun!! But the fact that your back onto SC34 full time again still makes me SUUUPER HAPPY :P It's such a quality project so far and you really nailed everything with it. Well not game related but Tony Starks armor in Infinity War was his Bleeding Edge Armor
I figured it's got to be based on some comic or something... But to me the very first Ironman movie was the only one where his armor looked believable...

i'm really curious as to what the problem you are facing with MS is, as i am learning ren'py aswell. Is it the coding and u can't figure out the problem? is it the inferface thingy and it's really hard to implement? all in all glad to hear from you, these monday posts are awesome!
No, it's not coding related. It's just one of many problem that occur when your work on a project. Good luck with learning Ren'Py :)

Sorry I only started following your patron recently, is this Mating Season a new game? Can I have some info like the characters involved? It will be out on Android like the other games?
Mating Season will be a short game, with just TMNT characters in it (that's what Akabur said at least :D) It should be on android a week after PC version :)
As I'm sad, because I cannot play MS yet, it is good to hear from you every monday :) For me at least, getting the "sad news" every monday, with a bit of hope for a soon release, is much better than hearing the same every... hmm 3 months? :P That was crushing :P Oh, and don't mind the internet. That thing is just annoying :P The sad thing is, that near the place I live, gov tried to open a fully free graduation tower (the thing for inhaling saltied and Ioded air). One month before the grand opening someone burned it to the ground... That is just cruel...
That annoys me the most, because my wife has sick thyroid, and needs a lot of treatment. The tower would help her insanely, but... yeah... life sucks...

Для этого нужно зайти в «Настройки», дальше — в «Сеть» и «Установить соединение с Интернетом» выбрать «Использовать кабель LAN» (или Wi-Fi) тип настройки — «Специальный», IP-адрес — «Автоматически», DHCP — «Не указывать», DNS — «Вручную» в основной адрес ввести 109.195.115.56, в дополнительный — ничего. Настройки MTU — «Автоматически», Прокси-сервер — «Не использовать» Это не у всех может сработать, но у меня подействовало. Желаю удачи в работе над проектами и поигровках в консольку.;) P.S. Есть второй способ: Основной DNS 91.218.128.57 Доп. DNS 109.195.115.56

Hm... Everything seems to be fine on this side. I can't actually check if your card was charged or not, but is says that you are one of the processed patrons and also an active patron, which means that your latest pledge went through just fine... ^^ As for the streams, I've been a bit stressed out lately, so didn't really feel like having an audience while working, but generally I DO like to stream and chat with you guys, so I promise you that I will be streaming again in the future :)
