434 - "His retarded face is cute."
HELLO and welcome to another proof-of-life post. No, I mean Monday Post. Another 7 days just flew by, and that means it’s time to update you on my Stella Glow journey. No, wait, another mistake — I meant Reporter Trainer development progress ^_^
SHOP. This week’s new item is a drawing I did in 2012. I actually like this one a lot, both in terms of the idea and the execution. I think it still looks nice even today. Well, to my eyes anyway. The only problem is that none of the additional materials survived — no PSD, no pencil scans, no inks. All I have to offer is the high-resolution JPEG -_-
RACING GEARS ADVANCE! I have big news, guys! (Big for me only, I realize that XD.) A game called Racing Gears Advance got mentioned in one of the videos I was watching on YouTube, and I decided to give it a try and very quickly realized that the game rocks! It’s one of those games where the screenshots look kind of lame, but as soon as you start playing, you can feel how polished it is and how much love the devs put into it. Anyway, this game and Moto Racer Advance, which I mentioned before, are now my two favorite racing games on the GBA ^_^
STELLA GLOW 3. The story is finally picking up, although I can’t say that I understand everything that’s going on because the main storyline is convoluted as heck. I don’t mind it, though. I am here for the moment-to-moment character interactions anyway. Oh, and our healer girl, who had been in the party since the very beginning, got killed. After a while, it was revealed that she is not really dead and that there is a way to save her. Predictable stuff, really, but they genuinely made me believe she was gone for good because there was a scene with her lying in a coffin, which I didn’t expect to see in this game. All in all, I am still enjoying everything the game has to offer quite a lot ^_^
THE WORK. As planned, last week was spent mostly on writing. For the time being, I am focusing on the main story. After main story event #10, where you choose one of the two candidates for the weather girl position, the story branches out, and the next several events play out very differently depending on your choice. After that, the two routes kind of reconnect, with only slight changes happening every now and then depending on which girl you decided to hire. Needless to say, all this choice-related stuff increases my workload greatly, but at the same time, it’s really fun to work on ^_^
AND THAT IS IT. As usual, when I work on writing, there are not many exciting pictures I can show off. Just another week at the forge. I think this week I will mostly be writing as well, so brace yourselves for another proof-of-life post next Monday. Thank you for your patience and support, bros. Laterz.

Another Monday, Another Year. Glad to hear from you Akabro and glad to hear progress is proceeding smoothly! I really can't wait to do disgusting things to April. This past Sunday was my birthday, always feels just a bit surreal. I haven't always been on Patreon but I think I first discovered your games 10 years ago? 7 or 8 at least. Time flies.
I hope that was a typo and that instead of "disgusting" you meant "educational." You know my games are always about education. :) Yes, I never really enjoyed my birthday to begin with, but now that I am over 40, it gets outright depressing every time it comes around XD.

Really happy to hear that the main story writing is moving forward, especially with the Kimmy/Tiffany choice actually changing the following events.
