424 - No AI, no EXTRA!! post.

HELLO there, dear bros. How is life? All is good, I hope? Welcome to Akabur’s Monday Post — your safe haven from any real-world events, news, or even reality itself in general. If something didn’t happen in my games or wasn’t mentioned in this post, it’s not real and does not exist!

THANK YOU! Because I don’t have that many things to discuss today, I would like to officially and openly thank Del** for raising his pledge from ??? to 20 bucks! Thank you very much. Honestly, with every passing year I worry more and more that eventually life will get so difficult for everyone that supporting some dude on Patreon will become very low on people’s priority lists. But my worries continue to be unfounded, at least for now. I continue to exist as a truly independent game developer and continue to receive the funding to keep working on my projects. Thank you very much, dear bros. Honestly.

DID YOU KNOW? I used to have a demo of Fahrenheit that came with one of the issues of the Official PlayStation Magazine. The demo only contained the very first section of the game (the toilet and the café), but a buddy of mine and I played it multiple times. The interactivity of that game was mind-blowing for us. Later I purchased the full game and really enjoyed the infamous sex cutscene where you literally controlled your hip thrusts with the analog stick, as well as the extra after-credits scene where the main heroine performs a striptease for the black cop guy. Well, apparently that stuff got cut in the US version. I found this out a few days ago when I decided to boot the game up, but first I checked if there were any differences between the US and European versions. 0_0

SPEAKING OF GAMES. I continue to play Luminous Arc 2. About 20 hours in now. The writing remains at the same very mediocre level. It’s not necessarily bad, but it feels a bit dry. I think the first game was written a bit better. But on the bright side, the wind witch — Sadie — just joined my harem, and she seems to have that pervy older-sister type of personality that has already brought me a few laughs. So I’m looking forward to more personal events involving her. The first game did me dirty by refusing to give me any romantic endings on my first playthrough. I hope that won’t be the case here.

THE SHOP. Oh, and while we’re on the topic of games, make sure to check out Princess Quest, which I just uploaded to the shop. Veterans will recognize this one right away as one of the sim-room events from Star Channel 34. I repacked it as a standalone game in the hopes of uploading it to Steam to test the waters, but I’m a bit too busy to deal with that right now. For any additional info, check the game’s description in the store.

PRINCESS TRAINER ON GOG.COM?! He-he-he... It’s been brought to my attention that Princess Trainer (and Mating Season as well) can be found on GOG.com’s Dreamlist. Naturally, it’s never going to happen, but I appreciate the fact that somebody took the time to upload a suggestion like that there. :)

THE WORK. I have nothing major to report on the work front, bros. To be honest, I’m getting a bit tired of the damn skater girl, but that doesn’t mean I plan to slack off on her final events or anything. I’ll just continue doing my job while quietly wishing to be done with her story already and move on to other parts of the game. Over the week I did a lot of work on one of her CGs and also added a few additional details to her character sprite that were needed for the story.

AND THAT IS IT. Like I said in the title of this post: no AI pics and no EXTRA!! post this week. Thank you for your support, and I will see you all next Monday. Laterz.
