"Lyla's Curse" and "Soldier's Life".

Episode 02 release finally happened. Yay!
I gotta say it was received better than I hoped, so I'm very happy about that. Thank you for all the kind words (and kind money :) you keep sending my way.
For the past few days I've been taking it slow, playing video games (mostly "ELEX", it's so good T_T) and answering your emails.
Now I think it is time to share some of my post-release thoughts.
First of all let me assure you that my main strategy for Episode 03 has not changed. I still plan to make it way shorter and release it way quicker.
Also I plan to do a bit more drawing and a bit more writing this time around. Many of you enjoyed the story of episode 02 it seems, and I can't be happier about that. But looking back now I realize how much time it took me to write that story. And please don't forget that I also commissioned other artists to work on some of the chibi animations, the episode title screen and some other minor things. All that resulted in me barely drawing anything for the past 10 months or so...
Don't get me wrong, I enjoy writing, but not nearly as much as I enjoy drawing... So I will have to give all that a bit more thought, but the general idea for now is to spend a bit more time drawing crap and a bit less time writing crap, while working on episode 03.
Next thing is sexy scenes with Genie. This time around a lot of you told me (in one way or another) that Genie needs to be more active with the girls. And I hear you and agree. But this should be done in a way that would make sense inside the game world and also not multiply my workload too much... No idea, how I am going to do that... All I can say for now, that I heard you and I plan to give this A LOT of thought...
And that is it for now. Xaljio is repacking the game for ANDROID at the moment, so as soon as that is done, I will make another post and maybe talk some more about some things...
In the meantime I want to share two links to two games that you may find interesting.
First one is "Lyla's Curse" by Voodoo Monkey. Monkey sent me the link to his game saying that I should try it. I was very skeptical at first to be honest, but I give it a go and got to say I did enjoy it. The presentation is rough around the edges at time but I did like the overall artstyle and characters. Oh, and you should know that there is not much gameplay at the moment, more like a several long scenes but there are quite a few illustrations... Anyway, my only intent is to inform you guys that the thing exists and that I think it had potential.

And I have another game for you as well... This one is called "Soldier's Life" by Pyorgara. This one was also brought to my attention by the creator of the game itself and he insisted I should try it. And I did. And to be honest it had way to much shit going on for my dumb brain to handle... A lot of choices and numbers and stuff... Just finished my playthough . I love your games so much . Cant wait until all these girls get turned into cock gobbling zombies in later episodes . I was bummed abit by the lack of scenes though. Guess i got spoiled it PT and WT . I was really waiting for a good ashlien drawing of her on all fours oinking . Lol . Can wait to see what a good friend jasmine will be to her .

Soldier's life is super fun to play thank you! However, I play on a 2k monitor, and the screen is just so small. Is there a way to play in or near full screen?
Soldier's Life is a fun "slavebreaker" sort of game, with the added wrinkle of a surprisingly fun adventure/combat system. I like that game.
I've heard a 'lot' of positive talk about this, but I'm reluctant to play it until it's 100% done. I booted up the game and love how clean the UI looks. I'll be sure to keep tracking progress on the game. From what I've heard, you've outdone yourself.
Akabur's gotten pretty good at this stuff; he's not generally one to go back and rejigger the early mechanics of a game. (Example: He removed the most "grinder"-y part of the game for episode 2, but left it intact in the earlier scenes.) Also, the plot is highly episodic. I don't think you're going to gain much by waiting, might as well give it a look. There's already several hours of gameplay in there.
Can't wait till Lyla's Curse gets more content, damn I like what I have seen from the Prologue!!
Glad you enjoyed it. I'm currently working on 0.1.1 which I plan to release tomorrow night. I got a lot of good feedback from people and am currently restructuring and smoothing the rough areas in the prologue so that it's a lot tighter in it's presentation. :)
Alright Akabur. Whatever u did for EP02 worked. Even if we noticed that new char is close to fully copied from ur previsous game (the drawing i mean. dialoges are unic of caurse). Just keep doing the way u did this and keep every ep special. U can increase performance by sending texts to Lyk a bit erlier into the relese mb but that is ur choice entirely.
I noticed that too (although some of the HG art was new, such as the ribbon scene). You could make the same criticism of Jasmine, of course. Given that the theme of the game is that we are collecting characters from other games/works, that didn't bother me at all; I assumed the whole point was this person was already familiar to (most of) us.
I had the same problem with "A Soldier's Life". I've tried it several times but can never get into it. I much preferred Pyorgara's first game, "Corrupting the Priestess".

Also I tried Soldiers Life but there is too much text for my taste.. it's more based off illustration... VoodoMonkey has potential but I don't like some of the artstyles... like when she's giving a blowjob... İt's not the most attractive face.

Oh, Soldier's life, I tried the demo, it's an interesting game, it's pretty enjoyable to break that overconfident spoiled brat. As for episode 3, you have my trust, as I know that you will give us nothing less than the best of you :) Keep up the good work, and don't forget to take care of yourself and take some time for personal fun :) I will allways thank you for your hard work, you are the best my friend :)
