Hey there Aka, long time no see! I am a fully free man right now and the world is my oyster or whatever they say. Yeah, I feel you. Usually remasters are fucking horrible, don't add anything and just lose the soul of the original. Honestly the Hex girls "update" feels like it is done to spite people, like the entire Velma show. I miss the times when games and anime were not that present in mainstream media. Now I am off to catch up on the other posts, keep up a good work Aka!

Not going to lie Scooby Doo Mystery Incorporated (the one from 2010) Hex girls aren't too far off from the orginals.

Thier decision ended up with the worst of both worlds; they pissed off the SJW's by releasing the content anyway, and still censored the artists. Mega lame. Only thing left to do is let things simmer then re-release the costumes as paid DLC
Honestly, I think in any situation, the best you could do in any situation is stuck to your guns. Of course sometimes it's easier said than done. Even I try to be careful with what I put into my games. :(
Yup, just let me sit in the good old days of the 90's and ignore everything else the mainstream's been put out. D&D didn't suck, NSFW was the way to go and the humor was crass and hilarious, while everything was neon colours, high energy and XTREME! Ah, good times.

Haha. Probably. I always re-read what I wrote before posting, but this one definitely did slip through ^^
The thing that upsets me the most is when moral busybodies think they have the right to change the original artists vision in an effort to control what I watch and consume. Even if it's garbage and awful, even if the changes make it better (they never do), I'd rather consume the original unblemished version. Censorship and alteration is always bad. But, nothing we can do about it at this point. Hopefully the normies will make the pendulum swing back the other way eventually.
Completely agree with everything you say here. Makes me feel a bit better knowing that I am not alone at feeling this way. P.S. The pendulum will definitely swing back, there definitely will be a renessanse, I just don't know how old i will be by the time it comes.

Ok that gif is funny good share. As for Hex Girls not sure I knew of them but the you tube video was fun. Yikes if that is the new artwork on the right for them, yes burn all remakes.

Let me be old, I liked remasters, the idea of having a NES or Masterdrive game, or even some DOS/Amiga games in better graphics was awesome, but nowadays they are either overused, or useless, Graphics got to a top years ago, Lara looked as good as she can, I don't need to see her hair noses or more detail, as you say is a shame but fuck remasters (and not get me started on the creativity bankrupt)
Oh, don't get me wrong, I absolutely love the idea of a remaster. I think it's a great way to preserve a game. Only for me to be happy about it, it should be very faithful to the original, and be done by people with passion and skill. As it is right now, the recent Tomb Raider remaster is the only one that fits that category :)

I only have access to Popo's song at the moment. But I love it so much. Can't wait to hear the Sakuya's one. P.S. I freaking love her regular battle theme, that plays when you fight her or with her first few times.
