Roll Back Poll
And this weeks scientific research poll is about Roll Backs
Ironman aside .. do you often use Roll Back? Sparingly? For it's intended purpose (ie, to remedy mistakes, check on missed dialogue etc) or not at all?

On a game I couldn't roll back they had a history button so I could click that to reread dialog. Since roll back is limited, I save at like choices just encase things went a way I didn't want. heh.
I'm looking at introducing more in depth histories .. something more like a journal that summarises as the story progresses rather than a repeat of the the said dialogue. Same thing, I suppose
I use rollback to re-read dialogue or fix mistakes. For different outcomes I use different saves, because I expect any good AVN to make sure those aren’t one-offs, but rather part of the overall story.
Yeah .. same for me when I play .. in fact .. I don't even multiple save .. I makes me choices and live with the consequences. I don't think I could play any game any other way .. I used to have a friend who'd play single player first person shooters and quick save every time he cleared a new room out so if I died in the next room, he'd have a save point only 30 seconds back .. he spent more time hitting F5 for Quick Save than he did shooting monsters!! :)
