Dev Log Freebie : Finally!

After slaving away at "a" scene for weeks and weeks .. it's finally done. When i say "a" scene .. it's effectively 4 or 5 scenes .. but given the branching nature of things only one branch will play out per play-through. One of those branches is a 17 minute escapade .. yikes! Ironman rules .. so choose wisely .. :) That's nearly half of Chapter 1 in it's entirety .. (Disclaimer : That's a playthrough with Auto Play enabled .. button mashers will probably do it in 2 .. Hehe)

In addition to the these scenes being completed - the Relationship System is now fully functional. I made a Nerdy Dev Log a post or so ago about the introduction of it - well, it's all in place now and working sweet and exactly as I intended it to be working. So, if you whizzed through the first 2 chapters without really worrying about how those in game see the characters - you might want to revisit that as from Chapter 3 onwards - the pigeons will be coming home to roost for good and bad.

But what all this means is that I can't keep my eyes open with Superglue for much longer .. so I'm going to take a couple days "off" before moving onto the next scenes that need doing. When I say "off" - the Mrs would probably think I'm taking her away for a few days - but no, not "off" in that sense (that comes later!) ..

By "off" I mean, put Behind The Curtain to one side for a few days and catch up on the other stuff I'm supposed to be doing. Really need to get a few YouTube videos done, a few naughty images to post on here and elsewhere - so I'll really need to get on with some of that.

I also have a couple of other things in mind that I might take a crack at. I won't say what right here and now - but I've been thinking over the weekend while rendering - and there's a couple of things I want to try. No other reason. And if they work out - I'll make them available here for Soldier Tier and above. The ARE Behind The Curtain related - but not specifically related to the VN .. but maybe the characters. Watch this space.

In addition - I might be incorporating something major into Behind The Curtain in the coming weeks / months .. I don't want to give any hints here other than to leave you asking "Oi! What?". But if all goes to plan - I'll give a particularly animated announcement if and when it comes off.

Anyway, enough of the secret squirrel shit - I'm off to eat all the kids Easter Eggs! Till next time!
