This one will be a little of a flash news than the regular dev news. Not a lot to add since the last update, so there's just gonna be a bunch of me just yapping about some random things.

Lasting Connections v0.2.x

I have indeed finishes the v0.2.5 update. All I need to do now is playtesting it, make sure everything is well and good. It's gonna be a small update, and it will come out on the 22nd.

My primary goal for this update is figuring out navigations. And I think I did well. I've learned some new stuff after a few restless nights which should benefit all of my projects in the future. Honestly, I probably wouldn't have figured it out this soon if I didn't work on LC again.

I'm still thinking about making a post about who I'm planning to make "Romance-able", maybe I'll do that tomorrow cause things have gotten a little busier on my side.

With navigations, talking with people is going to be something you actively do. Here is what it looks like.

I mean, if you've played v0.2.4, you've already seen it prior to this, but that was just a preview. This is gonna be the real thing. And as you can see, I'm keeping it simple by using dialogue options cause that's all I know at the moment, so it's still gonna be playable on Android.

Because v0.2.5 is a small update, it doesn't have much in terms of content. About 60+ renders in total, one very small lewd scene too. There's also daydream section in the bathroom.

And I got everything nailed down and accounted for too. Like, "What happens if you do this first before doing that?", "What if I go there to talk with that girl before talking to this girl."

That type of thing used to be something I agonize about back then and have led to the slow development of LC cause I had no clue about a way of doing any of these stuff, and it eventually lead to WT's way of doing things.

But yeah, anyway, v0.2.5 maybe a small update, but it got personality. Stay tuned for the 22nd.

Willing Temptations v0.4.x

v0.4.4.1 is now available to all Supporters, so go check it out if you haven't. Pretty small update, but it got some content scattered throughout each date. Might be worth checking out before v0.4.5 drops, or you can wait on that too.

I have made a small progress since the last dev news. I want to do both NTR Date and Vanilla Date, but I got a bit of a problem with Vanilla route. It's more of a "me" problem than it is the game.

For the NTR Date, it's going well with the massage section. After LC's update is finished later today, the development for WT is gonna ramp up quite a bit. The plan is still to finish this route.

Back to the topic of Vanilla, though.

I have a bit of tendency to lean on dark and depressing stuff when it comes to writing serious story. I've been doing my best to avoid that, but... WT's Vanilla route is like a juicy thing for me to fall into that sort of stuff. So, I'm going to postpone it until all the NTR Date and Crazy Date finished, then work on the revision to make Vanilla more fun in the future.

I want to have a good time with WT's story, and things are supposed to be replayable, not like a one-time off big sad experience or something like that. Even if it's linear.

So, it's sad to say this, but if you are looking for Vanilla experience in WT, you will have to wait until September/November at very least. The latest Vanilla content you can have in the game right now is on v0.4.4.1 which has the latest beach section and of course, WT's 1st anniversary. I think Vanilla is at a pretty decent place right now.

With that said, all the energy I'm going to spend on Willing Temptations for this month and next month is going to be on the NTR Date.

I'm still aiming to get v0.4.5 this month, and I will confirm if that is happening in the next week's development news.
