The progress on LC has been steady. I'm working on the last location of LC's next update where you'll meet a familiar face. Someone you saw when Feily takes the MC to Madam Velvet. The time while on their way, you saw a few "Neighbors", and the guy down below is one of the characters you'll be seeing in the next update.
He looks confusing, I know. Probably even more so than Polio in Willing Temptations.
Cait actually went on far length to pretty himself up, practicing the feminine mannerism, maintaining his outward appearance down to the diet and everything. And he's doing it for the love of the game. In comparison, Polio is simply a pretty feminine man. Not saying either is better because both has their own charm, but the big question remains.
Will you be able to romance Cait in LC? The answer is; Yes.
The second part is who else are going to be in the last location. Which is a private pool. Will there be more interactions in there? Yes, mostly there are going to be MILFs like I mentioned in the previous LC's news. Including Velvet, although, no lewd interaction with her yet.
Still, I'm hoping I can slip a lewd interaction with one of these MILFs in the update.
The scripts for v0.2.3 is about 80% finished, renders are about 120 right now and probably finalized at 150, so it's going to be like the regular update I'm doing, if we don't count Sprites.
Hoping I can get some soundtrack for the game as well.
Even though there's a lot of work to be done, I'm quite confident right now in delivering it at the promised February 20th. But I'll confirm it for sure in the next dev news.
Alright, let's talk about something else. Cait, or just femboy, or men in general within LC.
If you're not into this sort of thing, of course you can just say no, just like how it is with any other characters you're not into. I'm not gonna bother making a toggle to disable these interactions, because every character have a role in the story.
Each character have their own preference too. Some going for the same team, others exclusively on the opposite, and a few others swing both ways.
I actually stumbled upon a BL a couple of years back accidentally, which made me a little curious cause the vibe was chill. LC will unfortunately skip BL romance, there won't be male love interest for MC, except for Cait, and he's going to be the only romance-able femboy in the game.
One last thing, it's actually something I talked about a long time ago. Having a family in the game, if you still got one IRL, cherish them dearly.
I just think it's nice to have a loving mother, a protective father, and a reliable sister. It's like the ideal vanilla life if not for the fact that your family ain't normal. Your dad is sick, your sister is a bit off in the head, your mom not around often, and you're as plain as an untoasted bread.
I mean the MC by the way, not actually you.
Since you chose Velvet in that poll I made a while back. Chapter 2 of LC will have Valda, MC's mom, to be prominently featured in this chapter.
The v0.2.3 update is going to cover about the beginning portion of Chapter 2.
