Once again, in case you have missed it. I have just released yet another update to Willing Temptations. Yessir, imagine that. 2 updates in a month. It is available to Recreational Visitors and will be available to all supporters next week. In addition to that, v0.4 is now available to everyone publicly, so go check it out if you haven't yet.
That new update (v0.4.1) of WT brings new soundtrack to the game, and it's a bop, I tell you.
Alright, onto the news of LC, how's the development going?
Pretty good. Albeit slowed down after last week's dev news so I can bring out that new WT update. Maybe you're a little annoyed by the fact that I'm working on two games instead of solely dedicating myself to one game, but I've talked about this multiple times, so I won't go too extensive in explaining it this time.
The point is that the time I spent working on VN is not gone. It builds up my experience, allowing me to learn things that will benefit both projects. Stuff that I learned from LC goes to WT, and the good stuff I tried with WT goes to LC.
Which makes v0.2.3 of LC a pretty big one. All the improvements made in WT, although not as necessary in LC, would still be a great addition. Like the dialogue box update, being able to turn it on and off with the text color changing depending on whether the box is up or not. All that good stuff will naturally come to the game.
Soundtracks, I want to bring it back to LC. I'm scouring every public domain I see to get good ones that fit. I'm flat broke to buy a license. Not really, I can use your funding, but music licensing is not as simple outside of public domain especially for this kind of thing. Which was why I opted to make own before. The main menu and end credits of WT and LC are my own.
Now, how about the content itself?
It's a bit challenging on this side. A lot of interactions to consider, a lot of sprites, but it's definitely doable. I would say that I'm half way finished, but I'm already on the second last location of v0.2.3, which is back in the glass house. After this, there's one more location I'm going to work on, and the majority of the game time will be spent there.
A lot of mature women you'll be seeing, you know. Not just an adult, but like, women who have that oomph, that aura of the maternal kind.
Not a lot of lewd content though. There's probably two of them at most in this update. We'll see how much I can squeeze in with the time I have.
And that's pretty much it, really. I don't have a lot to say on LC this time around. Though a lot of things happened the past few weeks. The used thinkpad laptop I bought so I can work on these projects remotely? Broken. The keyboard I mean, half of them aren't registering, and I'm not keen to buy a replacement keyboard again. So, it turns into a media server on the shelf.
Been doing a lot of cleaning and organizing, making everything neat. Two of my monitors just broke, so I went around and get them replacement. You are supposed to turn off both your monitors and PC before plugging those HDMI/DP cables in, so don't make the mistakes I did. Cost me 300 bucks and some tears.
So, I wasn't able to buy that GPU deal I talked about, even though I was considering it heavily. Which costs $470, and I'm just hoping it'll still be there in a few months cause I'm really, really gonna get it. These past few renders of LC takes a LONG time. My PC needs help.
But anyway, it's not an emergency which Is why I'm not super panicky about it. All things considered, everything is going well. Can't wait to see what sort of progress I'll make in the next two weeks, so, stay tuned until then.
