Before we get into the news, in case you have missed it. Willing Temptations v0.3.7 is now available publicly and all supporters can now access Lasting Connections v0.2.2.1. Go check them out if you haven't, y'all.

Alright, into the news. Last time, I dedicated the topic to WT, so now it's all LC. Doing it in turns, so I don't constantly repeat myself. I know that can be annoying sometimes.

Though, I will say that v0.4.1 of Willing Temptations will be targeting January 11th for its release. I'll have more to say about it next week, I hope.

Back into the news.

Now, here's the thing. LC requires a very different approach for me to make. And with the latest update, I did make it more manageable. If you hadn't noticed, the current build of LC is still in its first chapter. I also just added that whole chapter thing in v0.2.2.

With v0.2.3, the first chapter will finish with all the major characters (currently present) introduced as the story unfolds to reveal all aspects of LC.

There are many different sides to the game depending on the characters you interact.

If you're with Sonia, things are normal. Velvet is going to take you to high places. Cily going to take you down to the gutter. Valysha will show you a different side to life. A lot of mystery is going on with Feily, but wherever she's going, you might want to come with. I don't know where Vilvie's going to take you, but she's going to take you somewhere.

Obviously, LC will have a lot more characters in the future. Even in the next v0.2.3 you will see new characters, but not all will be major characters, and for those, you can narrow things down to these specific characters as a "Route", and you'll be able to romance some at the same time. Some characters cannot be romance for obvious reasons though.

In Chapter 2, there's more story bits and there will be one event that you can choose, someone you want to interact with that are available in that chapter. There's multiple option, but I can only work on one for v0.2.3, and I will let you make that choice soon in a voting poll. After I finish wrapping up Chapter 1. Said option will either be Velvet or Vilvie.

Things are a bit different now. I've learned so much through my time with WT and everything. It won't take me a whole year to finish a chapter, y'all, so don't worry about that. I hope I'll be able to afford a new PC someday to speed things up, these renders can take a while.

But in any case, going into the new year, things are looking good. Both the development on LC and WT, which again, I'll have more to say next week.
