Before we head into the news. If you have missed it, v0.3.8 of Willing Temptations is out now, y'all. Bringing you those sweet new scenes scattered throughout the game. Available for Recreational Visitors today and will soon be available to all Supporters in a couple of days.
Also, v0.4 of Willing Temptations are already in the works. Expect more details about it in the coming weeks.
For today, though, I want to dedicate the news to my side project.
This will be my third visual novel project, and as they say, the third time's the charm. However, that doesn't work here because Willing Temptations is already the charm for me. But maybe, I could be proven wrong, who knows.
Lasting Connections is my passion project, I never cared if it earns me anything, I just want it made. Willing Temptations is me exploring things. Any good ideas I came across, I implement them. I learn from the process, what works and what not. There's a lot more that I haven't tried, and I believe that Willing Temptations is gonna keep on improving my crafts.
For this side project, I'm gonna try to be a little serious about it. As in the tone, the stakes, it being a story in a zombie outbreak, I think it would make more sense if I don't mess around too much. Especially when it comes to the characters.
Protagonist got a little revamp since the last you saw him. Like, he actually has a proper hair now instead of those ruffle meatballs. And yeah, that's pretty much what I've changed. I like middle-aged dudes. He don't have super sexy abs or anything like that, but he got the heart.
Alongside the protagonist, you can also consider this girl as the second MC, except you will not be directly making choices for her. She's an acquaintance's daughter and due to some complications with college and her parents, she's staying with the protagonist.
There is another character as well that will show up in v0.1. It's the tall blondie I showed you guys last time, and hopefully, by the time I have another news about this side project, I'll be able to show her again.
Like I've been implying, this is a side project, so development is relatively slow as I am primarily working on Willing Temptations. So, I hope you can be patient with me.
No release date yet. If you got any suggestion, or something you want to see in this side project, do let me know in chat, comment, or in discord. As this project is super early, I might be able to squeeze in some of your ideas. If they do fit the game, of course.
