Development News 27 - WT v.0.2.2 is Bigger Than I Thought

Comfort, just a lil comfort to reassure that everything is alright.

Howdy, howdy, everyone. Back with you again with another development news.

This week, I've made a great stride in renders and scripts, so the update is pretty much half done at this point. It's going to be covering the NTR routes of Phase 1 so that you can tell your wife and your friend to stop doing whatever they're doing, which can then progress the story.

Vanilla has three different routes, good, great, and bad. I don't wanna work on bad routes yet. Core story is important and I need it done fast.

Now, going to the new update that is coming. Depending on your choices, you can end up in two different scenarios in NTR routes.

One is an altered Vanilla route, and I call it Chocolate Vanilla. Not something like a "Best of both worlds", no, it is its own thing. Vanilla, but different, and it's going to have a different feeling than that also. Much more open in cheating talk, to a point that NTR bleeds through it.

Then, there is the Chocolate route. A full-blown NTR, but actually progressing the story. It is part of the three major routes, so it is not "bad route", hence why I'm working on it. I'm sure some of you are into this sort of thing, the game is about cheating after all.

I've seen posts on X that people don't like it when visual novels have many choices to pick? "Just tell the story and be done with it" is the sentiment I've got. I mean, those are kinetic novels experience, and my VN is more like a game. Almost every choice can alter your experience here.

What v0.2 is predated this sentiment, but later when I work on v0.3, I will make sure the core experience of Phase 3 finish first before working on branching paths.

Until then, look forward to v0.2.2 cause it's coming sooner than expected. And that is the wrap for our twenty-seventh development news. I hope you all are heaving a great day, and if not, I hope you have a better, more awesome one later today or the next one and the next one after. Thank you for tuning in, everyone. Stay safe.
