A lil stretch after a job well done. There is a lot to update you on the next build of LC, so let's start.

First, what's going to be in Build 1_18, and there's quite a bit. You will spend almost the same amount of time as you were with Sonia on the two new characters section, Cily and Valysha. However, unlike Sonia, there aren't a lot of options to approach things, simply because of the difficulty to build relationship with them is just higher than the rest.

We're progressing the story, too. So, we're going past the interaction with Cily and Valysha, wrapping up the all important introduction phase as we enter the meat of Build 1. This is the first time I write a story in this style. Like, usually big things happen right at the beginning of the story before it settles, but almost all of those novels that I wrote that starts like that, I ended up not continuing them because for whatever reason I never got in the mood. This one, Lasting Connections, as it starts almost completely at 0-level vibe, I'm feeling it.

The audio equipment arrived yesterday, I got a headphone and MIDI controller. Exact model is HE400SE and Oxygen Pro Mini, I also got this dusty old thing called Fosi Audio Dac-Q4. It still works well, I think. And I made my first music with them today. Nothing spectacular, I wouldn't even say it's good, but I hope it's at least... audible. It's about a minute-long, but I think it's miles better than the last one I put out. You'll hear it in the End Sequence of Build 1_18.

Players tier will be seeing the update in early August, next month. And the Divers tier will see it later this month. Fingers crossed, I'm hoping I can finish it fast so you all can play it ASAP.

There is one other thing. In the current Build 1_17.2, you know that there are two versions of intros that play after the other. Well, originally there was only one version and that is the demon girl's intro, but after the introduction of the Operator, we have two intros now. Three if you count the blank screen confirming your age. I'm still figuring out how I'm gonna approach this because if I split them, that means you will be opted out of one or the other's interaction.

Alas, my attention is all into progressing the story and interaction, so this one will have to sit out until the next next update, I think. I'll keep tabs on it.
