This illustrates how exaggerating the pose helps convey the feeling of the interaction so well! I like how you do tutorials like this. The first drawing isn't bad, and if it were happening in real life, might look a bit like that first drawing. But the second drawing is much better at getting across the struggle between the two people. Thank you!!💗
You're absolutely right! I kinda got it from animation. Rotoscoping is traced animation from video fotage and it always looks kind of off and lifeless while exaggeration conveys the feeling so much better. I'm trying to implement that into my own gestures bit by bit...
