May Update
It has been so long since my last update. I've been wanting to keep up with my monthly ramblings but ultimately I got distracted by conventions and traveling. But not this time!
Mermay has been a lot of fun and I came up with some nice concepts I want to play around with some more next month.
I've also been working hard on the next MaO episodes. 101 is turning out to be quite long but I'm almost done 🔥 Feedback from my editor is still slow but I'm hoping to finalise the storyboard next month.

I've also been thinking a lot about the future of my art. It's both fun and terrifying. On the one hand, I'm so excited to try new things and come up with new stories. On the other hand, what if nobody likes them… I suppose I just gotta try and see. I hope I'll get to offer a lot for free in any case!
Tomorrow I’ll be setting up my Dokomi booth and I'm looking forward to meeting some MaO readers. Come say hi at my small booth 5Q34 or come to my signing sessions at the Altraverse booth.
Once I’m back I’ll continue with building up my webtoon buffer. There aren’t many episodes left but I’m putting so much effort into them that my hand is starting to hurt. Hopefully, after giving it some rest during this convention weekend I’ll be back in full swing. Can’t wait to keep drawing!

It's surprising to hear that Miyuli is concerned whether anyone will like her next story. I think it shows how much you care about creating a work that others connect with, so it is a good worry to have, but I hope it doesn't harm you. If MaO was so good, maybe that means your next story *can* be well-liked, too. I look forward to seeing what you have to say with your stories! (And I hope you get all the rest you need, take care!)
