Perhaps characters from the "Aeon Flux" series would be a fun one. A traditional set from the actual MTV mini series, not the movie. Or Perhaps Julie, (Julie Strain), from F.A.K.K. 2 Heavy Metal? Haven't really seen either of those really emerge from the printing world, and I think they would be iconic!

I would love to see versions of gods from different mythologies, such as Greek, Norse, Egyptian, African, and Eastern mythologies. But nothing related to anime or video game versions (like God of War). I’d like them to be powerful, frightening, or beautiful, depending on the god — something that really draws on all the creativity and originality of the Polymind Studio team. But regardless of the final result, please don’t make characters that have already been done by many creators. For example, if game characters end up being chosen, enough with Kratos, Devil May Cry, Mario, and so on. Try to create something that has never been done, or a character from a franchise that may already have some representation by creators, but maybe go with someone less obvious — for example, from Gears of War, maybe Carmine, or perhaps characters from older Xbox 360-era franchises like Ninja Blade or even Vanquish. Anyway, regardless of what ends up being chosen, I would just like you to avoid the obvious. That’s all — thank you for listening.

Id like to see an Al Pachino ScareFace. We've seen Clint Eastwood and countless super heroes (all amazing by the way!)

To be honest, I joined for your Marvel lineup. Your style with those is so unique compared to everything else out there, and I'd like to see a bit more focus on those again. Obviously not *every* model, maybe one every month or every other month.

Popular 80s hit movie leads...Lost Boys, Rambo, Rocky, Van Damme, anything Arnie, Back to the Future, Karate Kid, Die Hard, etc.

Also thought as Halloween gets closer to do a bunch of modern, classic and niche/cult classic monsters.. (i.e. Ghoulies, Killer Klowns from Outer Space, Idle Hands, etc)

Or if you really want dark, how about dark historical figures? God knows there are hundreds of those we could explore, from Bathory through Genghis Khan, Burke and Hare, Vlad the Impaler - the list is endless!

H
Harold Harmon · July 12, 2026

That makes two suggestions for Genghis Khan in one posts comments.

Please not another slew of video game characters. It’s exactly what 95% of every other Patreon channel offers up. There are hundreds of classic movie characters to explore, dark or otherwise. Blade Runner, Zulu, Big Lebowski, James Bond, dozens of Westerns, Hammer Horror Films. Whilst I realise and respect that I am in the minority (being an oldie) let’s try to offer at least one non-genetic character every month for those whose tastes lie outside the box of the usual.

A sculpt of Wei Shen from Sleeping Dogs. The game was a masterpiece but no one talk about it

Sword and sorcery

H
Harold Harmon · July 12, 2026

Are you talking about films like Excalibur, Krull, Beastmaster, The Sword and the Sorcerer, Willow?

R
Ralph Gethings · July 12, 2026

Dark Fantasy all the way... well at least one a month. Stuff from the movies and animated shows we grew up with. Any Bakshi stuff, Bisley, DC's The Warlord, Heavy Metal inspired, John Carter, just to name a few.

On the subject of Horror and Monster pieces: The most commonly represented horror subjects fall into two main categories. First is the Universal Monster and adjacent characters ranging roughly from the 1930's to the 1950's. Second are the Slasher Boom and modern era characters starting in the late 1970's. Here you have your Leatherface, Jason, Freddy, Evil Deads, Chuckies, etc. You notice that gap in there? That period of roughly 1955 to 1978? That would be your Mid Century Horror and Cult Monsters. That period of horror films has almost zero representation when it comes to figure sculpts. In fact the only representation I see in that area comes from the old guard garage kit sculptors. That period of horror should immediately bring to mind the Hammer Film productions Christopher Lee's Dracula, Carmilla, The Reptile, The Gorgon. Vincent Price films: Prince Propsero (Mask of the Red Death), The Witchfinder General, The Fly, The Raven (3 characters there screaming for attention). You've got a ton of under represented subjects there and that's without even getting into the fantastic creatures of Ray Harryhausen. The Ymir from 20 Million Miles to Earth to start. The Cyclops, the Hydra, the Harpies. Calibos, Minoton, Kali.. The list can go on and on. Unique characters that you just don't see done. My guess, this is due to lack of knowledge on the subjects. We are not seeing them, because people don't know to ask for them.

PolyMind Studio · July 12, 2026

Wow, Harold, this is an incredible breakdown, thank you so much for taking the time to write all of this. You are absolutely right. That mid century horror gap and the Harryhausen creatures are massively underrepresented in the sculpting world, and there is so much untapped potential there. We are noting all of this down. This is exactly the kind of insight that helps us think beyond the obvious picks. Thank you again for sharing your knowledge with us, it genuinely means a lot.

Side note: I am enjoying your X-Men line though 🤘🏻

B
BadBrad · July 11, 2026

I originally chose horror and monster, but changed to dark fantasy just to give video games some competition.

B
BadBrad · July 11, 2026

I miss the double whammy of fantasy and monsters/horror pieces! I’d love to see you tackle Leatherface, Jason (after a half clothed damsel), Freddy, John Carpenter’s the Thing, Sam from Trick r Treat, etc. It seems like video games are going to win, but everyone is doing that now. How many more Leon Kennedy, Kratos, etc does the world really need?

R
Ralph Gethings · July 12, 2026

Totally agree, too many video game characters out there, and its obnoxiously repetitive. Honestly though, as long as we get a dark fantasy or even horror, im not gonna sweat the rest. Polymind though is creating an amazing space for themselves with the dark fantasy.

I would love for you to do the tall man from phantasm. A classic horror movie. I know you would crush it!

Historical figures and historically inspired warriors. I would love to see Polymind explore subjects drawn from major historical periods and cultures—figures with the same strong character, detailed armor, dynamic posing, and storytelling that you bring to your fantasy and cinematic pieces.

H
Harold Harmon · July 11, 2026

One historical figure I have been thinking about a lot lately is Genghis Khan—but not depicted as a warrior charging into battle. I would love to see him portrayed as the Great Khan in repose: seated among the trappings of his empire, projecting authority through presence rather than action. Rich Mongol textiles, weapons and symbols of conquest surrounding him, perhaps with maps, tribute, or other details suggesting the vast territory under his rule. The focus would be on the leader and empire builder rather than simply the warrior—a powerful, contemplative figure whose strength comes from the sense that he commands everything around him.

Ohhh it is so hard to pick only one option! ☹️
